A glimpse of Shyam Lal College.
Placements: Every year, our college conducts a placement drive for students, and many companies come there to select the students. That drive held for 3-4 days, and many students got the placement mostly from the commerce department. Students also got internships in many companies and a good stipend too.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is very big. We have two big buildings, an open auditorium, many gardens, a big sports ground, labs, Wi-Fi availability, and many more. College doesn't have a hostel that's a drawback. College provides medical facilities. Canteen is also there, and the prices are very reasonable. Sports facilities are also there.
Faculty: Teachers help a lot with solving questions, provide help in practical, and are very supportive of the students. Semester exams are of moderate level, not too tough. Previous year questions help you a lot. Around 80% of students pass the exam and score a good CGPA.

A very decent college. If you're taking admission in this college, don't have high hopes with it.
Placements: The placement faculty is bad, as what I have heard until now. You might get placement, but the package will be very low. The highest package that you might grab from here might be less than the average package of some colleges. Well, to be honest, placement totally depends on the student's capability.
Infrastructure: Classrooms aren't that big, in fact, the university isn't this big, and also they don't provide hostels. You need to find your accommodation yourself, but the best part of the college is their library. There are tons of books in the library. Classes don't have AC, but the library does have it.
Faculty: Teachers are average. Some of them are very friendly with the students, while the rest of them don't seem to care much. Some of the teachers are very supportive. Well, there is no doubt all of them are very qualified. But the teaching style of each teacher is very different.
Other: From what I have heard, there are definitely more colleges in DU with lower fees. About the crowd, I don't like the crowd of this college, apart from the people who are involved in societies.

It's not really a good college, and the location also is not so good with few events.
Placements: Even 10 percent of students don't get placement. The highest package is 65 Lacs per annum, the lowest is 10 LPA, and the average is 20 LPA. Only some percentage of students get internships, and in some small companies, roles are offered that are good and of value, but I don't recommend.
Infrastructure: There is no campus for hostels, no Wi-Fi available, and no proper department. The infrastructure is lacking; we don't have a mess, and the canteen is not in good condition for sitting. The chairs are broken, and there are no medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers don't even complete the syllabus, which makes it harder for students. It does not make students industry-ready, and the exams are much tougher, which severely impacts students. The teaching quality is not so good, and the pass percentage is 33%. It becomes difficult for students to complete the syllabus.
Other: There should be more events and fests. There should also be more scholarships and extracurricular activities for the overall benefit and help of students in all departments.

College is good because it is under the University of Delhi.
Placements: In my college, there is no hostel facility, and placements are good. The best maximum package is 12 LPA, and the minimum is 4 LPA. The top recruitment company in college is Infosys, and many others. Mainly, students do internships outside the campus, only a few students do internships in college.
Infrastructure: All classroom has a personal Wi-Fi and a good air intake. Labs are very good, all equipment and machines are in full working condition. Our college does not provide a hostel facility for students, but the canteen is neither bad nor good, it is very good in price, and decent.
Faculty: Semesters are not very difficult, the passing percentage is 5 CGPA. College makes students ready to work in the industry, but only talented students can go for placement. Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Everyone is of a very humble nature.
Other: Fest and events are mind-blowing, and our college also conducts NCC.

College is overall value for money. Students can expect a good future by studying in our college.
Placements: My name is Yash and I am a student of B.A. program Shyam Lal morning. Placement rate of our batch lies between 30 to 45%. The highest average package offered in my courses is 7 LPA, and the lowest package is around 2 LPA. Major companies that have provided placements are ICICI Bank and HDB Finance. College also provides a really good internship program and a placement cell.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is very good. There are labs, Wi-Fi facility, library with air conditioning, PCs with really good specifications for office work, classrooms are fine, ventilated, as well as the canteen is also air conditioned. Sports department also has adequate good facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members overall are cooperative although sometimes there are some delays in work but overall the faculty is satisfactory. College follows the curriculum of Delhi University based on new education policy and provides various additional subjects in which students can pursue an additional diploma degree. Exams are really not that hard. Passing rate is around 75%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue a career in TGT history. Moreover, the faculty of our course is very cooperative, and all the teaching staff is very well educated and hold Ph.D. degrees.

Actually, I recommend not taking admission here. Teachers are very rude, and placements are bad.
Placements: My experience was bad; there was very low placement rate. Very few students got placement. Digitech was one of the companies for recruitment, but the placements were low. The companies that came to college only hired students with the best academic performance.
Infrastructure: The atmosphere there was bad. The teachers are rude; they are very hard on students. If any student doesn't obey them, they directly cut his marks in the exams. Many students have the same issue. Now, the infrastructure of the college was average. The canteen was fine, but there was very little variety, and the food used was old.
Faculty: The teachers were not at all helpful. They were lazy. Some of the teachers come to the class in a sleep mood, and you all know nobody can teach in a sleep mood. We can say the course curriculum is somewhat relevant. The difficulty level of exams is moderate.
Other: I wanted to do B.Com from school life. I think the difficulty level of accounts should be managed. The fest and events are good.
