Decent college, could be considered as a last resort.
Placements: The placements provided by the college are below average. People from the B.A. program do get placements, but it is rare that they will get a good one. High packages are offered by some companies, but few will rarely grasp those. So it would be safe to avoid going to this college if you don't have any other skills other than your degree, if you want a good placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good for a college in a place like Shahdara, but it could have been better. For playing sports, we have a volleyball court and a ground where you can play football, cricket, etc. Hostel facilities are not provided by the college, so students have to make arrangements on their own.
Faculty: The faculty is the best aspect of this college. The teachers here are helpful, highly qualified professionals, and have a lot of experience in their respective fields. The curriculum is slightly above average, and as far as the exams are concerned, they are really easy, with a minimum passing percentage of 40%.
Other: College fests, events, and societies are all in a developing phase here, but they are showing some great results.

Review of Shyam Lal College.
Placements: Shyamlal College placement is not very good. Its average package is around 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA. However, we have a proper, dedicated placement and internship cell in our college. Students who get placed are mostly from B.Com (Hons) and Economics (Hons). The highest package is around 7–8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is moderate, not as good as the South or North campus. We have a society, auditorium, amphitheatre, NCC room, common room, and sports facilities, but we don’t have proper branches or proper Wi-Fi in the college. The library is normal.
Faculty: Our college teachers are very supportive. They always ready to help everyone. Their teaching style is good. They regularly conduct presentations and tests. Semester exams are not very tough. But they can be challenging if you don’t study.

This is good, but not the best.
Placements: The placements of this college are very low and its highest package is 4 Lacs per year, and the average is 2 Lacs. This is very low, and the recruitment for my course is okay, but not very good. The internship in it is also very short; this course overall is good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good, but the classes are not very big. There are small classes, and the course is good, but the department is not very good. There are not many people in it, and there is Wi-Fi, but it is not fast; it is slow. The lab is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but there is not much. Knowledge is there, and the course curriculum is relevant. The students' industry is good, and the semester is not very hard; it is easy. If you study, then go ahead. The pass percentage of this course is good.
Other: I chose this course because I am good at management analysis and fast-paced campus events. The campus crowd and scholarship are good, but the rest is better in college.

The campus is average, and the college life is not so good here.
Placements: Cannot expect a big package from this college or a big firm. You cannot expect yourself to shine from this college, as you will only develop your skills here. Not getting any package afterwards will make you regret choosing this college because the college doesn't provide any type of placement.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are not so good. The library is also small. Sometimes I can't get books as there are not enough for all students. Computer labs are okay, but not so good for studying and learning, but I can speak about the management. The management is good.
Faculty: Exams are conducted seriously and held at proper timings, and there is no cheating overall in the exam. I like the faculty during exams. There are also societies in the college that provide you with good opportunities to develop your skills in acting, drama, music, instruments, dance, etc.
Other: There is not so much of a crowd on the campus, and the campus is just an average size. However, the playground is very big, and the sports faculty is very good and has a nice and reputable image in college.

Our college is good in some faculties but not good in placements, and infrastructure is good.
Placements: There are 45 students in my batch, and the highest package of our college is 5 to 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are ICICI Lombard and ICICI Prudential. About 20-30 percent of students got internships. Mostly, roles offered in our courses are engineering types and for science practicals.
Infrastructure: Our labs and classrooms are neat and clean, and professors are also friendly. The Wi-Fi quality is not good. The library is small but good, and there are lots of sports like NCC, football, hockey, volleyball, etc. Our college is the best in sports, and all sports teachers are very good.
Faculty: Exam facilities are also good. Teachers are well-qualified, and classrooms are well-managed. The paper quality is also good, and sitting arrangements, phone arrangements, and bag arrangements are all very good. But we use stairs, not lifts, because they are only permitted for staff and important members.
Other: I chose my batch due to engineering practicals being better for improving our course, and the fees are very high for B.Sc. or any other course.

Not much satisfied with college faculty and fees.
Placements: My course is B.A. program, and our college provides some placements, but these placements aren't that high. Companies like Deloitte and KPMG select students for placements based on their skills. The highest package is around 5 LPA, and the average package is around 2 LPA-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. There are well-maintained classrooms, a library, and different labs like the computer lab, Chemistry lab, bio lab, etc. Our college has a big and well-maintained sports ground. There is also a Wi-Fi facility available but the canteen isn't that good and its food is of poor quality.
Faculty: Teachers are good and supportive like some teachers treat students like their own, but some teachers don't respond in a good manner. Our principal is one of the best principals any college could have. The process of college exams is easy and simple. Teachers and faculty also help students with it.
Other: Students have many facilities to enjoy and explore college life in our college. The crowd is also good. There are many seniors who treat juniors like their own brothers. There are great fests to enjoy and college functions to explore.
