A brief review about Sibsagar College.
Placements: There is no in campus placement but the college is very reputed in Assam, so if you have a degree from Sibsagar College (now Sibsagar University), it will give an edge into your CV. Our college also runs some career counseling workshops which will help you to achieve your career goals.
Infrastructure: My department is English which is one of the biggest in the college. The faculty is very knowledgeable, and every professor has Ph.D. There are 4 classrooms for English department and each semester has 50 seats. Also, the college offers PG programs for English department. The library has every book which is required for our course and in the library, there is 1 Gbps internet connection for our research purpose.
Faculty: Every teacher is very knowledgeable, and they give their 100% to teach us. They guide us in every aspect of our academic life and the course syllabus is made by Pankaj sir. He includes every topic which is important for our Masters. Be ready for exams as it is a government college, and the exams are difficult. You have to study hard to survive here for final exams. You will get around 4.5 months approximately for the exams and there are also lots of assignments and seminars, but if you really love literature then you will love it.

Our college has the best faculty, good placement in 2023, really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Our course is related to the education system; it taught us what education is and how it works. It helps to understand the education system. Our department has around 250 students. Our course is not so expensive. Our course is to help join the government education system, teachers, professors, etc.
Infrastructure: Our education department has its own department and lab. There is always free Wi-Fi available, and we have a large library with approximately 100,000 books and a capacity for 150 students. We have the best college hostel where there is availability of food, electricity, etc. from time to time.
Faculty: Our teachers are the most friendly and helpful; they are also highly qualified and knowledgeable. They have the best and most unique teaching qualities. They maintain and improve the relationship between teacher and student. Our semester exams are not so difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I love this education line.

Regular study and class participation help in securing good grades.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in English and its strong career prospects. The best aspects include a well-structured curriculum, hands-on projects, and internship opportunities. However, the course could improve by adding more practical training, updated industry-relevant content, and better placement support. The campus hosts technical, cultural, and sports fests, creating a lively atmosphere. The student crowd is diverse and competitive. The college is well-connected by public transport, with cafes and bookstores nearby. Scholarships are available based on merit and financial need.
