There are highly qualified teachers here.
Placements: Almost 40% of the students were placed from our course. The highest salary offered here was Rs. 50,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Top recruiters for our course are LIC, HDFC, etc. Around 30% of the students got internships in various insurance and educational institutes. The top role offered in our course is a physics lecturer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, ambient classrooms, air-conditioned library, auditorium, etc., are available here. The canteen, sports and games are good.
Faculty: Teachers here are extremely helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are highly experienced and professional in their behaviour. They provide a high-quality teaching experience with amazing lab facilities. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready.
Other: Physics is a highly knowledgeable and emerging course, so I chose it. Practical knowledge can be improved in our course. Every year a fun fest and technical fests and events are organised here.

Sides College - A Challenge or Struggle. It absolutely depends on how you take it.
Placements: For a subject like physics there are no placements as such cause there is no direct application of physics. But yes some companies did come for offering us jobs of sales, etc. Yes for course like B.M.M. BMS, B.A. B.Com there are many companies coming in. Students have a really good opportunity.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the College is quite good enough. Like the labs and all are being renewated. Also soon the apparatus for experiments and all also will be changed. Big classrooms and big benches, the classrooms are spacious. Only negative point is the College does't have a big campus, ground etc.
Faculty: The faculty of Physics is good in teaching except one or two. Discipline is being maintained. Our principal is really nice and is student friendly. The Teaching staff of the college is average. There are some teachers who teach extremely well and Support the students in every possible way. The also provide us with good guidance how we are supposed to go ahead with our careers and how does the market work in today's time.
Other: There is a lot of competition in the college for extracurricular activities. You get to learn many things and can groom yourself pretty well. The best part of my this college is the Cultural activities. Also there are many associations in which students can become members learn front the seniors and from themselves and attain leadership qualities.

SIES is a dream college, and it helps in the education.
Placements: When it comes to placements, well-reputed companies do turn up and hire students from sides. But during my academic days, no company placements were there as far as physics field were concerned. We never attended any interviews or company organised seminars as compared to other streams in the college.
Infrastructure: 2014-2015 was the year when sides NAAC accreditation was supposed to take place. So, the college was renovated, and now the infrastructure is beautiful. There are facilities like good classrooms, a great library with an infinite number of books, a well-equipped gymkhana, and the canteen at the underground. There are no drawbacks as far as infrastructure is concerned, but the quadrangle is too small, but events keep on happening, and we used to enjoy it.
Faculty: SIES is known for its best teachers and no matter which course it is. Sides has the history of having great personalities and great teachers. Always dedicated to their students and getting things completed from us before time. The non-teaching staffs were very supportive throughout our academic career.
Other: The Pragya Vision is a great initiative by the college for the visually challenged, and being a scribe and helping out our fellow visually impaired students, and increased our sense of helping nature. We got to learn a lot from them. The college students are very disciplined and supportive. Visions are the annual fest where all of us wait eagerly. We get to learn new things, a great way to enjoy, and get some relaxing time as well. Apart from Visions, every department of sides celebrates Utkarsh as well in the first half. This extra co-curricular activity enhances our knowledge even more. SIES gives scholarships for the needy. SIES is near just 8 minutes walk from SION station. 10 minutes walk from Guru Tej Bahadur Station. It too has best bus connectivity as well. It has a great ambience to study. It's the best college for study centric atmosphere.
