Silicon institute of technology, patia.
Placements: Placement is not that good Mainly IT companies are coming But when u have talent does this matter. There are few guys who didn't joined here forcefully, they joined because they wanted to be engineer and they got placed in nice companies. Placement is not good because many are there who joined when they had no other option so practically it's not possible for those to get placement.
Infrastructure: Campus is small even classrooms of EEE department. New buildings are good. No Wi-Fi yet. Canteen foods are the worst. Clean campus and hostel. 2 basketball court, 1 volleyball, 1 cricket practice NET I football ground (small one). There is place called skylab where Wi-Fi is provided.
Faculty: There are few good teachers and few bad teachers too. But when it comes to engineering a real engineering is the one who is best in self study (atleast according to me) But u will get the help from faculty when needed. Somehow bput syllabus worst and things are taught quiet earlier.
Other: Atleast best in Odisha only join when u have no other option But again this is best in Odisha Surrounding is good and quite Tech fest is there but not so big one.

I will rate it good for the teaching purpose.
Placements: Here in Silicon, the placement is good but not the best. Look if you are capable of getting the job, then you will be selected in the campus. So about 70% or more of the seniors batch got the job but in only the IT companies. No core companies recruit the students means no core sector companies come to the campus. Talking about the salary, the companies offer around 25-35K per month. The companies like Capgemini, Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra visit the campus.
Infrastructure: Silicon does possess good classrooms, library, laboratory, and medical facility. The Wi-Fi facility is the worst thing in Silicon. The speed here is less than the 2G speed of any network. Coming to network, only you can use Airtel and Vodafone. You will see zero networks of any other sim. Coming to sports, there are two basketball courts, one small ground, where both cricket and football were played. When we talk about hostel rooms, they can be better. There are issues with water supply, internet, and the warden. The canteen food is also good, but that depends on the days like in Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays, and you will get a little bit good food than other days. The college infrastructure is not large but small. But it's also good that you don't have to be in a hurry for the classes.
Faculty: The best thing in Silicon is the teaching part because that's why students come here. Here, the teachers are good, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. In a day, we have to attend a minimum of 5 classes and a lab in a day. The teachers are strict too. If you aim for GATE or CAT, then you should be here, and also you have to study for this too. There are faculty members too who will help you much in industry exposure is a little bit less. But in the 2nd and 3rd-year, you will be visited a minimum of two industries, but that should improve in Silicon. The course curriculum is useful but not that 100% because it's under BPUT, and the institute must follow them.
Other: If we talk about the campus, it's a little bit small, but the crowd is good. Every year, there's one fest combining the tech fest and spring fest of 3-days. Here, the surroundings are good and greenery. There is one sports club and music club for the extracurricular activities. You will also get a gym but with no trainers.

Great Placements during our time that is in 2016. Wipro hired 294 students in on campus on day one.
Placements: Placement is better for IT sector jobs than core jobs here. Actually it has one more branches in Bhubaneswar which has much better infrastructure and faculty members compared to Sambalpur branch. Companies such as Infosys, Wipro, Techmahindra, Capgemini, TCS (off-campus) generally come to this college. So I would suggest to go for CS/IT branch for getting easy jobs in IT field.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. As an Electrical Branch student I can say that the equipment are available relevant to the syllabus suggested by BPUT. But faculty members especially the lab assistants are not as qualified to teach or make student understand the basics of assessment in lab. Wi-Fi facilities are available. Sports and games are also played and they compete with other colleges.
Faculty: The teachers are always helpful. Most of the teachers especially in electrical and CS branch are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They use projectors to make student understand better and clear way. Industry exposure is hard to gain from this college. This type of curriculum can only help you in passing the B.Tech.
Other: Techfest happens every year. Sports events with rhytmnova, a musical events also happens every year. Extra curricular activities such as quiz, robotics, dance etc. Also happens every year.

The college is up to the mark in all aspects.
Placements: The placements are not up to the mark, and many students are unemployed. If more companies come to our college, then our students can be employed. One of the major problems is, they offer a very low salary package which is very difficult for a person to live with that salary.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well and good. We have a very good atmosphere here. Plants, trees are planted all around. We have a very good scope for sports. The classrooms are very spacious, and we use modern techniques to learn new things which benefit us in getting knowledge in an advanced way.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are highly educated, and they know how to make a student understand the concepts better. The syllabus will be completed on time, so there is no problem with that. We have regular classes from 9:50 am to 5:10 pm.
Other: We have many events in our institution conducted by various clubs, and also there is an annual fest in our institution which is two days event.

A very good place for making our future.
Placements: There is a good placement record. Several companies visit here for recruiting students and also recruit them. Last year, some companies like Infosys and Wipro came and recruited about 60 percent of the students. Our college has a very good placement cell also which manages the placement record, and also guides the students on how to appear in the interview, and all the important and necessary information is given here which is useful for the students to appear in the placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. We have separate buildings for different branches. A very good and airy library is also there where we can easily find books of our necessity and which is also useful for our future exams and studies. The hostel is also good and airy.
Faculty: The faculty are very good. They have very good teaching style, knowledge and experience. They used to make their techniques of teaching better every time so that we got the concepts which they wanted to teach us. Several courses are also provided here.
Other: Several events are also organised here by our college, like robotics, games and also programs.

The college is mainly known for its educational background and placements.
Placements: Our college is known for its placements, and many good companies visit our college and recruit the maximum number of students. We all are satisfied with this and companies like Wipro, Mindtree, and Cognizant are the mutual partners with our college.
Infrastructure: I must say that this is one of the best infrastructures I have ever seen yet. The college doesn't have a very big infrastructure, but it is space worthy and fully utilised area. Everywhere we see, it's green and eco-friendly. We have music club, open-air theatre, internet lab, library and one cinema hall too which college will provide us on every Sunday.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly, and some are strict though it is necessary for educational field. If we ever face any doubt in any matter regarding our subject, then faculty are always available for us. All the faculty members are highly qualified, some are PhD holders, and we have some guest faculty also available in case we are in short with any regular faculty.
Other: Co-curricular activities like techfests, annual events are held every year.

Silicon Institute of Technology is a very good college to study.
Placements: A few years ago, placement statics of this college was very good. Almost eighty percent students were placed. But nowadays, placement statics of this college is decreasing to fifty to sixty percent. In this college, Infosys and Wipro are the main recruiters. These both companies are the day one companies of our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. The infrastructure of our college is not very big, but it is sufficient for a good college. And also there is a football ground, cricket ground, basketball ground, badminton court, volleyball court for the playing purpose.
Faculty: The faculty of our college are very good. All the faculty members are hardworking. All the teachers teach the students in a nice manner. All the faculty understand the problem of the students. B.Tech and MCA courses are offered by the college.

College review about Odisha's one best college.
Placements: It gives us a variety of placements including MNC as Infosys, to wipro, and ADP and mindtree. Even other start up companies visit it's branch at Bhubaneswar as GGK TECH, conversion bug and others. Though not in its own campus it provides the placements but in its branch at Bhubaneswar we get all the facilities including a number of companies and proper campus life.
Infrastructure: It has got an amazing and beautiful infrastructure which enhances life at campus and even helps in studying in open environment and a central library which is open atleast 12 hours a day and has Wi-Fi facility to help students benefit from it. Along with studies it has got Cinemax which focuses new movies streamed directly into college.
Faculty: Faculty are M.Tech graduates from various standard institutes such as IIT and NITs and have proper knowledge about subjects and gives us information's even out of class and the way of teaching is really amazing using the board and projector screen. Course is based on the syllabus from BPUT and the course gets completed on time and we get proper time to study for our semesters.
Other: We have yearly fests which includes various events such as Robo war, ramp events, treasure hunt and coding and debugging.
