Siliguri Institute of Technology, SIT has announced their cut off for various courses provided as well as B. Tech courses with specializations. For example, the cut off of B. Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (WBJEE) is 105580 and that of B. Tech in Electrical Engineering (JEE Main) is 1185010. Admission to BTech course is based on WBJEE/ JEE Main score followed by a WBJEE Counselling. Aspirants first need to apply for BTech on the official website. Candidates who have qualified WBJEE/ JEE Main can provide their score for the selection process. Candidates who have completed Class 12 in relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) are eligible to apply for the BTech course. After the completion of the selection rounds, candidates are called for document verification and counselling round. Selected candidates are required to pay the course fee to confirm their seat.

The students pursuing a course from the institute are open to scholarships provided by the West Bengal Government. West Bengal Minorities Development & Finance Corporation provides Post-Matric Scholarships and Merit-cum-Means Scholarships. Scholarships will be provided to eligible students in order of merit and subject to the budgetary allocation provided by the State Government. For renewal, the applicant will be eligible for the scholarship if he/she has obtained 50% aggregate in his/ her previous examination.
