The college circumstances are very good.

Placements: Almost 80% were placed in our college, our college placement percentage is decent. The highest package offered is 51 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 3 LPA. TCS, Microsoft, and Amazon are the recruiting companies of our college. An internship is available in our college.

Infrastructure: College Wi-Fi are very strong, labs are very good, classrooms are clean, the library is very peaceful, and there are many books. The mess canteen is really good and clean. There were medical facilities, and many kinds of sports are available in our college.

Faculty: The teachers are really good, very helpful, very qualified, and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also very good, and this course will help every student to grow. And this course can improve our coding skills and increase our expertise in this industry. Most of the students passed the exam.

Average faculty members, good placements in 2024, average infrastructure, and disgusting canteen.

Placements: The highest package is 52 LPA by Microsoft. It is an off campus placement. TCS hires students almost every year with an average package of 6 LPA, I suppose. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, and HCL Technologies. Overall placement is 80% guaranteed. Best role offered is data analyst.

Infrastructure: Our college has decent Wi-Fi. Classrooms don't have air-conditioning system. Few of the labs have air conditioning but they don't work. Library books are old and outdated, and not in accordance with the latest syllabus. Even the library does not have air conditioning. Canteen is very unclean, and unhealthy foods are served. Speaking of medical services, they don't have any medicine on standby for emergencies. Sports and games consist mostly of indoor games.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but they are averagely qualified. Teaching quality is not as expected. Curriculum should be focused on practical learning rather than just mugging up a huge load of theory books. I don't understand why economics is included in the CSE setup syllabus. Exams are very irrelevant. It is natural because they don't even teach to that level and expect us to learn them all by ourselves.

Good placement in 2024, really good campus, and good faculty.

Placements: In the year 2024, a 92 % placement record was seen with an average CTC of 6 LPA and a median of 5 LPA. 51 LPA was the highest CTC acquired that year and the highest ever by Microsoft ( off campus ). 24 LPA was the highest CTC acquired on campus. For 25 years, SIT has been providing jobs to students, and they have done it really well.

Infrastructure: The college provides us with a lush green campus and excellent infrastructure. Air conditioning is provided in all the labs with all the equipment in fine condition. The college has one central library and a digital library. Wi-Fi is available all over campus. Cheap and good quality food is found in the canteen.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are PhD holders with excellent knowledge about their field. The teachers will guide you through every step. The course curriculum is made to understand the current market, with the thought of making the student industry-ready. Each semester consists of 4 central assessment exams to keep the students ready for the end of the semester. The end semesters are easy to crack if consistency is maintained.

Other: There are a lot of clubs and extracurricular activities taking place every year. The college provides opportunities to open a new club anytime. Yearly fest, singing competitions, quiz, internal hackathons and much more. Talking about sports, we have cricket tournaments, football tournaments, badminton tournaments, basketball tournaments and much more. The campus consists of 4 blocks, the engineering department, a block for first year, business and nursing college and the Master's college. 3 canteens, a football field, a basketball court and a volleyball court.

Placements: 20 percent of students from the course is taken in placements and from there around 60 to 70 percent students are placed, the average package of this course in our college was around 8lpa, and the minimum was around 2 to 3lpa, and the highest package someone got was 51lpa, Top recruiters in our college include Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Virtusa, and Wipro, with Microsoft, Bosch, Amazon, and etc. Companies, around 70 per cent of students get internships from the college, some get in ICL, TCS, Wipro, etc., top roles are senior software engineer, Data scientist.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good enough for engineering, the campus is quite big enough, there are medical facilities, there's a basketball court with a gallery and a football ground big enough, the food in the canteen is average and price is also decent like a veg thali with price dal and 2 sabji cost 45 rs with extra price to be 5 rs per serve. There's a small gym, very small though, and sports and games are fine, like tournaments, etc. Happens once a year.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful only if we are interested, the teaching quality is decent, and we can't argue because the teachers are qualified for their level. The syllabus is, though not good enough, it can't make a student industry-ready, and teachers follow the syllabus, so mostly we have to do from outside to pass industry standards. The semester exams are quite difficult. I got like 2 backlogs in 2 years, so it's pretty tough to pass, but easy if we study. The pass percentage is 70 per cent every semester.

Other: I chose this because I wanted to do video gaming development, basically a developer, and I joined because everyone recommended. The best things in my course are the friends I made, they are helpful, even the seniors are helpful too, the fest is average, and like freshers and farewell are held in hall rooms, college life could totally be better if there were huge functions organised, you are eligible for scholarships, I got the swami vivekananda scholarship of Rs. 60,000 per year.

Placements: I am very happy pursuing my course, and 90% of students are placed in my college. Many packages are offered by the college, like the highest package I heard about is 51 LPA, and the lowest I think is 3 LPA. The top recruiters are TCS. About 70 to 80% are eligible for internship.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and course are very good, like the Wi-Fi and the labs, which are very good. The classrooms and library are very clean, and the medical facilities are one of the good things in our college. There is a wide ground for sports and games, and there are various games in our college. They also provide a gym.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely good, they are very much qualified and very much knowledgeable. They have graduated from very good universities or institutions. Their teaching quality is also good. The college exams and semester exam level are moderate, and the majority pass the exams.

Placements: In the BCA course, around 20-40% of students got placed. Highest package offered was about 8 LPA, lowest around 3 LPA, and average stood near 1.8 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Pentonix, Fleapo, and Navarro. Most students also received internships in similar companies, and the main roles offered were Software Engineer, Developer, and related IT profiles.

Infrastructure: BCA department at SIT has good facilities like Wi-Fi, modern computer labs, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library with digital resources. Hostels are decent for first-year students with basic amenities, though many shift to PGs later. Mess and canteen provide hygienic food, medical facilities are available on campus, and students can enjoy both indoor and outdoor sports.

Faculty: Teachers in the BCA department are generally helpful, well-qualified, and have good subject knowledge, making classes easy to follow. Curriculum is updated and includes practical learning, but extra skills are needed for industry readiness.
