TS Rahaman is one of the best maritime colleges in India in terms of campus.

Placements: Around 60% of the students are placed with good shipping companies. The top recruiting companies are Mol, Maersk, and Express. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA and the lowest is around 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: TS Rahaman has a very good campus. There is all-around greenery. They have a very big swimming pool. Also, the mess and all are very good. The hostels are very good in terms of cleanliness, and the beds are all quite comfortable. Also, rooms have balconies from which you get direct access to the sea.

Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, as they possess high skills in teaching. They clear up all of our doubts. The semester exams are moderate. The course curriculum is one of the best in India. We get to learn a lot of practical things as compared to theoretical subjects. The students who passed out of TSR are considered some of the best cadets in the shipping industry. In the course, we learn different skills required to run a ship as well as seamanship.

Other: The DNS course is a one-year course, and you have sponsorship in hand, which means a job letter, which you have to get from shipping companies. Also, you have to do 18 months of sea training, during which you get a salary. The crowd in TSR is very good. Most of them are from very good backgrounds and are very decent. There is no ragging in TSR, which is very helpful for the students.

It is the best college for DNS with the best faculty members and the best environment.

Placements: Placements totally depend on your performance and your ability to work in a company. The companies will visit here to offer the best. They conduct interviews, and you have to qualify in them.

Infrastructure: The hostel is fine, and the food served is also good for you. But housekeeping is not good. As our institute is very near to the sea, you will get a sea view that gives positive vibes. You will get to see the sea all the time, so it is the best place for the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members here are excellent, and they have very high teaching experience. Some of them are from Indian Navy, while some are from the merchant navy. They give their best to teach you, and they are the captain. They will give you their experience of what they faced in their time.

I am absolutely satisfied with our college. The environment here is lush green and clean.

Placements: Approximately 70% of the students get placed from this college. As my course is a diploma in nautical science, which is a pre-sponsorship course, I got placed in the company before the course starts. However, most of the good shipping companies visit this college to recruit students as this is one of the oldest and reputed maritime institutes.

Infrastructure: The hostel in which I stayed was Sagarika which was situated just opposite to Hasham mess. Our college has a library named George library with all maritime books as well as computers, along with air-conditioners. The quality of the food served in the mess is overall good. Our college has a swimming pool with instructors. There is a hospital named Fatma Banu, and doctors and nurses are available 24x7.

Faculty: The important part here is the faculty members who were the most knowledgeable and experienced. More of them are captains and chief engineers with more than 30 years of sailing experience. There are also instructors for us who always guide us to be safe. They are very supportive and helpful.

Other: The best thing about this course is that it is of less duration, i.e., just one year. After that one year, you can go abroad and earn money and explore around the world. You will be independent.

Best Marine Institute In India.

Placements: Students coming for a Diploma in Nautical Science already have sponsorship here. Now, students are coming for placement in CCMC, GP Rating, and B.Sc. Nautical Science, and it's the best choice. Companies like Feet Management, Synergy, K Line, Scorpio Tankers, Cellship, MOL Tankers, MOL, and Anglo Eastern prefer our graduates.

Infrastructure: I want to say that the food is the best here compared to other institutes. Food is the most satisfying aspect of this college. Coming to lecturers, they are very strict, and indiscipline is not tolerated by them as all the lecturers have sailed their lives as captains in ships.

Faculty: All the lecturers available here are very supportive and knowledgeable. But getting theoretical knowledge is not enough for a student. He will actually learn many things on the ship itself. The course is not so tough; if you study, you can easily pass exams and even get good grades.

Other: I was doing a Diploma in Nautical Science, and I was sponsored by Feet Management company. This is the college that allows you to do this course at the most affordable fees possible when compared to other institutes and provides the best resources.

Hence, this collge is very much glorious and amazing.

Placements: The placement rate for this college is almost 90%. Our course's highest, lowest, and average packages range from $250 to 650 dollars. Top recruiting companies for our course are MOL, M.Sc., Anglo-Eastern, Scorpio Tankers, Torm Shipping, Goodwood Shipping, etc. Roles offered in our course are: how to drive ships, how to carry safe passage, how much load, and what to load.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of this university are excellent. The campus and hostels have Wi-Fi. There are fully A.C practical labs and equipment that are almost new and updated with the latest technology and are easy to use. There is also a museum in campus called the Marine Musuem.

Faculty: The teachers are well experienced and knowledgeable, along with having practical knowledge. The quality of teaching is at the next level. And yes, this course curriculum is relevant and it really makes the students industry-ready. But the exams are quite tough, as the passing percentage is 50%.
