I'm dissatisfied by canteen facilities. College gives business development support for each course.

Placements: Students who score above 75% in academics get placed. The salary offered ranges from Rs. 15,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, MNCs, etc., visit the college to recruit students. Students who score above 75% in academics get internships. BCA has add-on courses like a diploma in cyber security and extra courses. Campus selection is available.

Infrastructure: Internet is available for lab students. Classrooms have smart power boards. The library has a good infrastructure. I am unaware of the hostel facility as I am not into it. The canteen is still in process for students of all courses. There are 2 floors of canteens for students' comfort.

Faculty: Information on the subject is clear and helpful. For teaching quality, I would rate 9 out of 10. BCA of SSMRV has a lot of things to gain knowledge. Regarding the difficulty level of exams, I would rate 7 out of 10. There are 2 internal exams, 1 mid-term exam for one semester, and assignments for good marking.

Other: BCA is very informative and has many things to learn in that, so I chose it. Additional Diploma courses like cyber security and cloud computing are provided.

The student review of their college and facts.

Placements: Currently out of 120 students, only 4 of them got placed on campus, apart from that students are using their connections for job. Top recruiting companies that visited are HDFC, Kotak, ICICI, LTI and Deloitte. Deloitte is a national assessment.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is developed at part and developing at another part of college, hostels are not available. The college has a total of 5 labs for B.Com, BBA, and BCA as well. A lot of improvement is needed. Library is quite peaceful, we can just go there and sit for hours.

Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. They are approachable and give their best to every student. They do their best to solve each student's queries. Course curriculum is well-structured, regularly updated, and balanced between theoretical and practical learning.

Other: The only option that was left for me was either BCA or B.Com. I wanted to do something in the technical field so I opted for BCA. Events keep on happening in college, crowd is always gathered anywhere and everywhere.

Our college provides good placements, a practical curriculum, and a lively campus.

Placements: In our batch, around 85% of students got placements. The salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 15 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and Accenture. Around 60% of students secured internships with companies like Mind Tree and HPE. Roles offered are analyst and developer.

Infrastructure: Our department has state-of-the-art labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and modern classrooms with smart boards. The library is well-stocked, with journals. There is no hostel. There's a medical facility on campus for emergencies. Various sports grounds for games like volleyball and badminton are available in our college. Our college encourages students to stay active.

Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and supportive, with strong subject expertise. The teaching quality is interactive, focusing on concept clarity. The curriculum is industry-relevant, blending theory with practical skills to make students job-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging. It emphasises understanding over written learning. The pass percentage is around 85%.

Other: I chose the BCA course because of its strong foundation in computing and programming, which aligns with my career goals. The best part of our course is that hands-on labs and real-world projects that enhance learning. Improvements could include more electives options and advanced teach workshops. Our campus hosts teach fests and cultural events, with a vibrant crowd and active clubs. The connectivity is good. The campus surroundings are green and lively. Scholarships and extracurriculars support personal growth.

Good environment, faculty members, and all initiatives taken by them are appreciative.

Placements: Around 60% of students were placed, and the average package offered is around 3-4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Infosys, Mindtree, and Accenture. There were no internships offered, and there are many opportunities and roles offered for many students.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very basic. It has all the basic facilities and labs are well structured where they provide good systems. The classroom are well maintained; we do have projectors and smart boards and library is the best; they have all kind of books, it is systematically managed and maintained. There are no hostel facilities provided by the college; the canteen is decent, and sports-related activities are very good. They conduct many activities related to sports and they do have gym .

Faculty: The faculty members are the best; they are very knowledgeable and down to earth. We can interact with them related to any academic-related issues or doubts without any hesitation. All the CS faculty members are good compared to other departments. The curriculum is very much related to the industry, where it is very helpful for the interview process. They even provide pre-placement training to all the departments, which is very impressive. Exams are a bit hectic, but referring to notes provided by facilities is a bit easier to learn.

Other: It is a reputable college and has good placements, and it is nearby my home, and most of my friends joined; hence, I chose this college. Things that should get better are the infrastructure, which is too basic. There are things where it doesn't have the facilities, no proper auditorium, and placement is good but needs more company related to technical fields. Events and fests are wonderful here; they have the biggest fest called YUVA, which is awesome, and they even conduct alumni meetings every year, which is impressive.

Review of Sivananda Sarma Memorial RV Degree College.

Placements: I am still in the second year so I don't know much about placement, but I heard from my seniors that it is good for placement. There are 60 students in one class and there are 2 classes in our course. A minimum of 65% of students are offered a job on campus itself. There are many interesting internships offered upon completion of the course by our faculty to gain experience. This college helps in a good way.

Infrastructure: They provide us with a very good library. In here, you can find any type of books related to the course. And also, they provide free Wi-Fi in the library if you want to work on your study-related work. All the classes have smart projectors. This makes studying interesting. Sports are not of the highest quality in our college, but we have good events now and then. The canteen food has improved over time after the feedback we gave.

Faculty: Here, all the teachers are very supportive with study-related matters, getting job experience, or any other creative work. Faculty provide us with internships now and then to help us gain experience on the job. The exams are held every 6 months, and the exam facilities are good. They could improve by making the study more practical rather than concentrating on theory. Also, this college helps develop our skills in HR by giving us a chance to handle events.

It is an average college.

Placements: Almost 96% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, IBM, HCL, Google, and TCS. Around 70-80% of students got internships. Top roles offered are data analyst, software developer, and web developer.

Infrastructure: Our college provides us with above-average facilities. Classrooms are a bit spacious. Wi-Fi facility is not available in our college. Lab facilities are good. Classrooms are smart. The food served in the canteen is good. Medical facilities are good. Sports and games facilities are not good. A playground is not good. They won't provide proper equipment for sports.

Faculty: A few teachers are helpful and highly qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is up to the mark. Our HOD is supportive. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 90%.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in the IT sector, and it provides many job opportunities in the IT sector.

Placements: Almost 50% of students were placed, but that was due to covid. The companies were shut so that affected our placements. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. There were no internships for our batch due to covid. Most operations roles were assigned to students.

Infrastructure: The facilities were average, and it was a normal college. There were several sections for a class. Laboratories were there for all activities needed. The library was also good which contains all the courses books that students could borrow in need. The quality of the good was average, but there were other options available outside this college. For sports, there were sufficient facilities and multiple clubs dedicated to sports itself.

Faculty: Teachers were kind in this college, some teachers knew everything. Some teachers had limited knowledge and could not even solve basic doubts. The quality of the teaching was manageable. They only taught students the textbook things, and it did not make students industry-ready. Semester exams and passing percentages were conducted by this university so they had to decide on it.

Placements: About 10% of the total students from our course get placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Some top companies like Deloitte, Infosys, Cognizant, and Wipro visit the college to hire students for the BCA course. The top roles offered in our course were IT consultant, programmer, and developer.

Infrastructure: It has many spacious labs, classrooms, and a library for the department. It has well-maintained, clean, and hygienic washrooms and a canteen. It has a well-maintained campus and auditoriums. The parking facility is available inside the college.

Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is good and practical knowledge can be gained through labs as well. The course curriculum is relevant. It does make your work ready to some extent but not to the extent of being an engineering student. Semester exams are not so difficult. I am very comfortable clearing all of them at once. The pass percentage is above 35%.

Other: I have chosen this course as it was not as hectic as an engineering curriculum, and you still get a wide knowledge about the computer Science and coding field. If somebody is looking forward to pursuing the IT field but cannot get a seat in engineering, then BCA might be the second-best chance for somebody to get into the IT field. There are a lot of languages and technologies that you have to learn in the matter of 6 semesters which makes no sense as you cannot master either one of them, so it should be improved. There are countless fests, events, sports programs, NCC, NSS, and 30 different clubs where students can get into based on their interests.
