What is the eligibility to get admission in SJCET - St. Joseph'S College of Engineering and Technology for UG/PG courses?

SJCET - St. Joseph'S College of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: Courses Eligibility B.E. / B.Tech Candidate must have secured the above-mentioned percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together with 50% marks in Mathematics separately. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science & Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. Candidates belonging to SEBC/ PD category will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. However, candidates who have passed 10+2 with 45% marks (Relaxation of marks for SEBC and PD category is not applicable) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together are also eligible under Management Quota. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the qualifying examination. Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2019.

Overall, it is the best college for an MBA.

Placements: Nearly all of our college’s students got placed. For domestic positions, the highest compensation package was 70 LPA, the lowest was 40 LPA, and the average was 50 LPA. Microsoft, Axis Bank, Adani Group of Industries, Larsen & Toubro, and others were among the leading employers. Students applied for internships over the past two months. Nearly all of the college’s students secured internships at renowned firms like Reliance Industries, Fluorite, and TCS, among others.

Infrastructure: Facilities at our institution were comfortable. We had fast Wi-Fi on our campus. The classrooms were very cozy. There was a quiet library for studying at our college. The food in the mess wasn’t very healthy, but the hostel had good facilities. The hostel also had sports areas and medical help available.

Faculty: Teachers had extensive training and expertise. They blended well with the students and cleared our uncertainties. The course material was up-to-date and prepared the students for the workplace. The semester exams were moderate. About 90% of students passed the exams. To pass the semester exams, you had to study throughout the semester.

Good infrastructure and facilities are provided in our college.

Placements: About 90% of students got placed in our college. All of them are placed in top leading companies. The highest salary package offered is about 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 3.5 LPA. The topmost companies are TCS, Qburst, etc. About 80% of students got internships. All of the students who get placements will get entry roles in the company.

Infrastructure: All students are provided with lots of computer labs and a wide variety of books are available in the library. Every student is given Wi-Fi passwords. Laptops of students are entered with Wi-Fi passwords. Wonderful hostel facilities are provided and good food is given in the mess. Our college promotes sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers of our college are very helpful and qualified. They have a wide range of knowledge about their particular subject. Our college provides special training to make the students eligible and capable of attending the interviews and getting a nice job. Our college is now autonomous and semester exams are a little tough.

Other: I choose Computer Science and Engineering because it is the best course in the engineering field and most needed department. Our college conducts the best events, tech fests, and wealth campus. Our college promotes extracurricular activities.

Placements: Around 70% of students without arrears got placed in our course in reputed organisations. The highest salary package offered for a fresher is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Top recruiting companies from our stream are Aarbee Structures, Liva Interiors, etc.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of our college is excellent and beautiful. Our classrooms have all amenities. The library is vast with a large number of books and journals. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The food quality in our college hostel is not good. Our canteen provides good food.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified enough to deal with subjects. The teaching methods vary from person to person. Some faculty members made complexity in understanding subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is 40%.

It is absolutely stunning and I am impressed by the infrastructure of our college.

Placements: In our college, around 300 students have opted for our course, and the major recruiting companies are TVS, Infosys, South Indian Bank, etc. Almost 85% of students got placement from our college at around 12k per annum. It was a wonderful experience to study in this college.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure: the best labs, study halls, auditoriums, and libraries. Our faculty is good; they help a lot to achieve (our goals). Sports and other activities often happen in our college. Our college conducts space exhibitions, etc.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and help us understand everything in minute detail. This course is the best for aspiring software engineers. They help us to develop ourselves. Taking seminars and other activities are there, and I was happy that our faculty members are helpful.

High-speed Wi-Fi (150 Mbps) is available, and the library is top-notch, offering a wide range of books. The hostel is average, and the food quality is poor. However, a variety of sports and games are available, and everyone is encouraged to participate.

It has pretty good infrastructure, facilities, and supportive facilities.

Placements: Almost most of the students from our department have been placed with good companies even though the packages are not very high. This college provides placements from TCS, Wipro, Infopark, etc. The packages are mostly average. There are good opportunities for internship programs.

Infrastructure: The college has almost all the facilities that satisfy the needs of an engineering aspirant. The library is large enough and has almost all the collection of books from various departments. Classrooms are pretty good and have quality tables and benches.

Faculty: Teachers are very much friendly and have very good knowledge about their respective subjects. They are very much supportive. The curriculum of the college is up to date as it has been raised to an autonomous level. Semester exams are not so hard if revise what we learn every day.
