One of the top private engineering colleges in Kerala.

Infosys, Ust Global, and Tata consultancy services are some of the companies that recently visited the college. Most placement offers are for the CS branch.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure and laboratories are at decent levels. The college has all the laboratory facilities including a Heritage museum. The college has so many recreational areas including open stages sports grounds indoor courts etc. The college has a large seminar hall known as St Francis hall.

Most of the faculty members are holders. The teaching staffs are cooperative mind and friendly. They also give special training for placements.
Other: I have a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication in Sjcet because of the placement records and the quality of education in SJCET.

Our college has very good in placements and other study programs.
Placements: Many students got placed in our college by campus interview. Our college is the best college for placements. The salary offered in our course ranges between Rs. 60,000 per month and Rs.200000 per month. Many companies visit our college to recruit intelligent students.
Infrastructure: We get highly advanced facilities around our campus. The campus is good. The Wi-Fi facility is available. Laboratories are highly advanced. Classrooms are good. Some of the classrooms have been restored. A library is a special place on our campus. The hostel facility is average. Sometimes, the food has some issues but the food service is good.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They have a good experience in their fields. The quality is quite different in their experiences and mode of study. Some teachers take the class through interaction with students. The course is good. Semester exams are difficult. If students study, they can pass.
Other: The campus surroundings are good.

Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: College provides many placements from different companies. Infosys, Oracle, UST global, TCS, etc, are the main companies for placements. Our college has a placement cell for making better placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities available are very good. Our college has better labs and classrooms. Library consists of more than two thousand books and a digital library is also available. The quality of the hostel is good but the quality of food in the mess is not good.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very good. Teachers are very helpful, very qualified, and knowledgeable. University semester exams are very tough. Internal exams are good but semester exams are very tough.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become an electronics engineer. Events and fests provided are very much less.

Review of St. Joseph'S College.
Placements: The highest salary package is about 3 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA. The roles offered were software and hardware engineers. Some of them are assigned as supervisors. The main recruiters were Flipkart, Mahindra, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has well-furnished classrooms that are digitalised. Wi-Fi was available. There is a good library with a wide range of books. Hostel facilities were good.
Faculty: Teachers were well educated. The course is utilised in modern industry jobs. Exams may be difficult if you don't work hard. The pass percentage is half of the total marks.
Other: I chose this course because I like to know more about the wide aspects of electronics. It is not easy to handle this we need to work hard. Tech fests like Astra and musical fests like Sargam to enjoy our college life. Bootcamp for startup projects was available.

If you are looking for a good campus life, you must consider this college.
Placements: St. Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology, Pala has excellent placement records in these years and still grabbing good offers from some of the major IT companies in India. More than 400 students were placed in various companies across India like TCS, Infosys, UST Global, etc., in the previous year.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure overall. The laboratories and project workshops have top-quality facilities. Our college has a good cafeteria and canteens. The college has separate seminar halls for each department. Hostel facilities are somehow average but manageable.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are top-notch. Most of the faculty members have Ph. D.s in their respective fields of study. The college has more than 200 teaching staff members. They are almost friendly. The college conducts 2 series exams in between the semesters and they are helpful for the external exams.
Other: I chose electronics and communication at Pala St. Joseph's College of Engineering and Technology because the college has top-quality faculty members and placement records.

Review of SJCET - St. Joseph'S College Of Engineering And Technology.
Placements: Getting placed is the goal of every student, and this college provides you with the best platform. The placement season starts with the mass recruiters like Infosys followed by TCS, Mindtree, VVDN, E&Y, Procsys, Orion, Speridien, HCL, IBS, Tech Mahindra, UST Global etc. More than 80% of the students are assured placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 5 acres. The campus is lush green along with 24 hours electricity and water facility. The best infrastructure is available with highly equipped labs. Hostel facility with an accommodation capacity of more than 1500 (boys and girls) is available within the campus. Sports and games facilities like a basketball court, football ground, badminton court, volleyball court, etc., are available on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly supportive. More than 2/3rd of them are having PhD degree. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that they are on par with the current industry needs. Corporate interfaces are done frequently to give students an understanding of the corporate world. Practical sessions provide every student with practical knowledge of their domain. The student-faculty ratio is 15:1.
Other: International conferences are organised every year. Technical exposition called Cynosure is organised for 1 week, once in 5 years. A techfest called Asthra is organised for 2 days. The arts fest called Sargam is organised for 3 days.

A college with a difference.
Placements: Placements always start with mass recruitment by IT and solutions giant Infosys, followed by companies like TCS, Mindtree, MRF, NEST, VVDN, EY, HCL, Orion, Speridien, Tech Mahindra, etc. Placement assistance is mainly provided by Career Launcher.
Infrastructure: The college is located in a 5-acre lush green campus. The main highlight of the college is the 24 hours water supply, electricity and Wi-Fi facility. The infrastructure of the college supports indoor as well as outdoor games. Labs are highly equipped to give the best possible education for students.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, with most of them having PhD. The college follows the syllabus set by KTU which is a recently formed university, and the syllabus meets the industry standards. The faculty to student ratio is 1:8. The college conducts TEDx talks and other corporate interfaces to enrich students with industry knowledge.
Other: Cynosure fest is conducted once in 5 years, and the college technical exposition is for 3 days. Asthra is the technical fest conducted for 2 days, and Sargam is the arts fest conducted for 3 days.

A college with poor quality and high on advertisement and pomp.
Placements: Almost 200+ students were placed mostly in BPOs, call centres, and in such kind of incumbent jobs positions. Apart from Infosys Technologies and 5 more companies, none of the companies that came for placements was good and mostly software and IT companies came. The placement cell has few dedicated staff, but the quality of the recruiting industry was too bad. I had 2 job offers from on and off-campus placements, but none of them was close to what I expected or the industry I was taught in. The placement cell is very well-organised and staffed. New offers and opportunities are still being intimated to the ex-student community for better job offers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing. The college enclosure has some of the best gardens and well-maintained parking space. The laboratory and other technical systems are way too old school. Though, they are calibrated every 4-5 years. The machines and electronic equipment is still dated back to 2000s. Having a first-hand experience and training in these systems, I have never seen such outdated information and technology anywhere outside. The staff are well-versed in what they teach and inform the students.
Faculty: The staff members are from prestigious universities and institutions. But that does not account for the lack of information and teaching standards they lack. The curriculum followed is of MG University which was reformed in 2010. The faculty makes attempts to revive the students about the latest version of technology and services industry. But it's not very useful until certain applications and services are taught upon. Altogether, the faculty are under-informed but well-maintained. There have been cases of students being harassed by the faculty. Female students have been forced to adapt to personal tastes of the institution. The course curriculum is outdated, and the teaching methods are very low in creating interest and creativity with a lot of focus on marks alone.
