Life at Sophia: About college, infrastructure, and campus life.

Placements: In Bachelor’s of Arts, there aren’t many placements offered, but teaching institutes like Allen and Resonance do offer job placements. The annual package offered by Allen is 5,000 per year. Around 60% of students get placed. There are different roles prepared for, such as courses in home science, dyeing and printing, and skill courses.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is well-developed, with various facilities such as a canteen and gym, pool, court, labs, etc. The hostel rooms are pretty spacious, with four living spaces, and the food is a bit bad some days but edible. There are different sports, ranging from swimming to shooting.

Faculty: The faculty is very insightful and talented. There are many professors who are widely known for their research. The course consists of all the necessary topics that will help us in competitive exams. The difficulty level of exams is intermediate.

Other: I chose this course because the arts in Sophia are incredible, along with the experiences and internships provided by the college in political science and psychology. There are many events and festivals, such as Nazakat and Sophiata, and we participate in different festivals at colleges such as LNMIIT and ZEST.

Sophia Girls College is a great college for students.

Placements: After passing out from this college students get placements in some great institutions like Amazon, TCS, etc. Our college pass outs have even reached great levels giving CDS and UPSC. Some even got into international Ivy league colleges like the London School of Economics.

Infrastructure: Sophia Girls College has a great premise with half-size Olympic swimming pool, indoor stadium, well-finished labs and homely hostel. There is a huge ground with numerous sports going on and focus on the cultural factors side by side studies. All classrooms are equipped with projectors.

Faculty: Our college has one of the best faculty members with great qualification and knowledge. All the teachers are masters in their field. They are always open to solve queries. Teacher to student relationship is very friendly, and this makes it even easy to communicate.

Other: We have a great diverse crowd with amazing campus life and on-campus hostel facility. But phones are not allowed on the campus and even in the hostel on weekdays. Overall, the entire campus is filled with beautiful plants and green grass.

I am dissatisfied with this college.

Placements: Around 60-70% of students get placed with the average package that ranges from 2-4 LPA. Major recruiting companies for our course include ICICI Bank, Wipro, and Infosys. Tourism roles offered are guest relations and teaching. Around 40% of B.A. students get internships with a starting package of 1.1 LPA. However, placements are not that good

Infrastructure: Sports facilities are average. The hostel food is decent. The campus is safe, and staff members are supportive. It has decent academics. No Wi-Fi given. The canteen is decent, and classrooms are also decent. The library has good books. More than 2,000 books are offered, but not many are available to all students.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The highest pass percentage is 85%. The course curriculum is relevant and builds industry skills for all girls.

There is no security about the further placements, but I recommend this college to gain knowledge.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement facilities, but rather they encourage on having further education and go with quality education other than hurrying up for career goals. There is no average, highest or the lowest salary packages offered, and internships are also null in our college.

Infrastructure: Our college is known by its name throughout the nation. Our campus is supposed to be the old architecture huge campus area, and hostels are also good for survival. There are fewer restrictions than any other government college hostels. Sports have a very good support system in our college.

Faculty: Faculty members are average and with average knowledge delivering capacities. They took very least interests in studies, but the discipline is the most demanded thing of our college. The course curriculum is quite average, and it is needed to be updated.

The classrooms are spacious and have smart boards and projectors. The library is a vast collection of journals, business and management books, and e-resources.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, approachable, and provide guidance when needed. Most faculty members are well-qualified with industry experience and advanced degrees. The teaching quality is good, with a focus on practical applications and interactive learning, MET.

Other: I'm interested in visiting industries and more details about history, geography, and English literature. There are career opportunities in this course. They provide strong placement support.
