It is better for education purposes, but the rest everything is below average.

Placements: No placements are held in the college. A lot of students are suffering from this. Many students have achieved jobs with great percentages. But as they are not providing placements so many students are suffering. Before joining make a bond with the college for placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is better when compared to college but in the laboratory, equipment is not sufficiently arranged. Students face problems during lab exams. Hostels are provided only for girls. The food served is not proper. Students are suffering a lot because of food, water, and shelter.

Faculty: In the beginning, faculty members are good but during working days faculty were not receiving proper payments on time and they are searching for other opportunities outside. Because of this, students are suffering a lot. They don't understand what is going in the college.

Other: The college should provide placements for enough students and facilities in the hostel also.

Why should not prefer this college.

Placements: About 30% of students in my batch were from my class. In 2024, the top package got by a student was 7 LPA, whereas the minimum was 2 LPA. During that year, when I completed my degree, firms such as HCL, TCS, Teach Mahindra, and others held recruitment events. However, merely 10% of my batch obtained internships at TCS. Regarding positions, my friends acquired roles like site engineer, project coordinator, etc.

Infrastructure: SCTC's civil engineering department has Wi-Fi, labs (strength, surveying, concrete), decent classrooms, and a good library. Hostels are clean and basic, mess and canteen food are bad, sometimes we order from Zomato. Medical care is simple, sports like cricket and volleyball exist but they don't let us play on the court.

Faculty: SCTC's B.Tech civil engineering faculty members are qualified (M.Tech/PhD), and knowledgeable, but average. They are helpful to some, but not inspiring. The curriculum (JNTUH) is relevant for basic roles, not cutting-edge, and industry readiness is limited without extra effort. Exams are moderate, pass rate is 65%-75%, solid but not standout. It's worse than passing marks per semester is 50

Absolutely loved the college and enjoyed it.

Placements: More than 75% of students were placed during our placements and offered 30 lakh to 1 crore packages by Dell, Google, Mahindra, and Infosys. The roles assigned were interns, and executive and many other roles were offered. And many of the companies will arrive in the future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the department is so nice, all the needs of students are fulfilled and the canteen is a better place to visit. Nice facilities are also available. We have the best discussions in our labs and classrooms, and the library is the best place to read lots of new stuff.

Faculty: Academics are the best known at this college and many more qualified professors are here. They are student friendly and they will give us 100%. For us, semester exams are way too good and we have studied a lot to clear them but overall, it is good to clear them.

Other: I chose the civil engineering branch because I love construction and I learned many valuable lessons from this college. The college fest, events and sports meet are the best days of my college.

For good studies and placements I recommend this college.

Placements: Most of the students get 80% in semester exams. In placements, the highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest is 3-5 LPA, and on average students got 10-12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Tata, Infosys, etc. Most of the students were hired through the placements and got jobs.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is available but the network speed is very poor. The food provided in the hostel is good. The college doesn't encourage enough participation in sports and we play sports on weekends. The classrooms are maintained very neatly in the college and the food in the hostel is prepared very hygienically and the quality of food is good.

Faculty: This college has a very good faculty who are also very experienced. Their way of teaching is pretty good and the pass percentage in the semester exams is 35%. The question papers are very tough and it's not easy to pass in the semesters without good preparation. Here, the faculty is very good and experienced.

Other: I chose Civil Engineering because the world without this is not easy to build. Besides, there are placements and demand for civil engineers.
