B.A in (English, Economics) - Batch of 2027

I'm not very happy, but also not dissatisfied with the college. It's good for me.
Placements: I'm doing B.A. Programme Economics + English, with Economics as major, in SGNDKC. This course is great for students who are good at mathematics and have interest in it. One can choose this course to make his career in non-IT sector fields like data analytics, financial analyst, CA, CMA, etc. The package from our college for this course is low, but one with a good skill set and great mindset can definitely get a good package around 7–10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of SGNDKC is not so good and is small compared to other colleges in DU, but there is a gallery and seminar hall for events for societies, a small garden, canteen, computer labs, average classes, and a very nice library. Quality of food is average, but not too bad either. There's no special infrastructure for sports. Overall, it's more than average.
Faculty: Faculty is the best part of this college, great teachers, very helpful, qualified, and experienced. This course alone will not make you industry-ready, but mastering some skills along with this course will definitely make you industry-ready with more than an average package. Average and below-average students should focus on mathematics mainly, as it's a little bit tough.

I am not satisfied due to poor infrastructure, management, and placement.
Placements: There are about 30-40% were placed in the previous session. The average package is around 4 LPA, the minimum package is 1.5 LPA and the highest package is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tech2Globe, GradHub, and learning routes. Top roles offered are HR, sales, marketing intern, and manager. From my course, students have the opportunity to grab internships but there are very less students who get the internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are subpar. Classrooms are not well, with no air conditioning, broken benches and chairs, and rude management. Wi-Fi is available, and the library is good. There is a gym, and medical and consulting rooms are accessible. However, there is no hostel.
Faculty: Teachers at my college are good and very helpful. Teachers always help students. They are experienced and always willing to assist students. While this course may not make students industry-ready, it offers various internships that can help shift your career into another role. Exams are of easy to medium difficulty, with a pass percentage of 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to be an English teacher. There are numerous events held every month, scholarships are available, and my college hosts many societies.

Not satisfied, bad college.
Placements: The placement cell of this college is very bad, they don't offer many internships or jobs, and they generally offer job roles in sales and marketing only. Some seniors in college say that the highest package is 8 LPA. Some say there are no placements for any course except B.Com.
Infrastructure: Campus size is too small, they don't have playgrounds, no Wi-Fi connection in the whole campus canteen is the worst; they don't even have a menu. They just offer 2-3 food library is the only good place on the whole campus. It is well well-organised system where you get email notifications when you issue a book and after submitting it. Sports and games are not present on campus; we just have a gym, which is decent, but it is also not open regularly.
Faculty: Teachers are very good, they take classes and assignments on time, and they are very polite. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. holders and highly qualified. Our principal, sir, is very good. He helps every teacher give proper time to submit assignments and projects.
Other: No placement for this year passing out batches, in March, there is an internship mela in our college, in which only 3rd year students are allowed to participate, and maybe some of them get that internship, and the majority of companies are providing jobs in sales and telecalling. I chose this course because it is useful in data science, economics, etc. After completing this course, you can go for a Master's from IIT, IISC, or a foreign institute, also. No fest happened this year. No extra-curricular activities. They provide scholarships also.

Quite dissatisfied because of poor infrastructure.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is 45%. The highest package offered to any student in my course is 3.9 LPA. The lowest salary is 2.1 LPA, and the average salary is 3 LPA. Recruiting companies are Eutrip, Reliance, and Bajaj. Data scientist, business intelligence roles offered like analyst, machine learner engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very poor because of lack of space. But still our college provides decent laboratories with working laptops and computers and a very environment friendly library with numerous books in different fields. There is no hostel available in our college plus the quality of food is below average. But basic hygiene is maintained. There is no space for sports but one gym is available. Basic medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers of my course are very helpful and well qualified and whenever any doubt or any kind of query is raised then teachers ensure to solve them and provide a handful inside about the topic also. Teachers provide us with the knowledge about how we can cultivate better marks in the exam and how we can use them in our career. The course curriculum is relevant and also makes the students industry-ready as analysts, etc. The difficulty level of semester is moderate level, and the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because maths prepares an individual decently for any government exam, also it provides a strong educational background that one can use in any other career option. The things that could be improved about my course are that there should be some space for the students to get deep into 4 about the vedic mathematics where one just gets master in calculating things. There are numerous societies in our college that keep on holding different events. Every year fest is fun. The crowd is also quite decent where students from different places come.

I'm dissatisfied with faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: In our college, very few most likely 1 or 2 students got placed. They don't even get Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month. College doesn't provide many internships and if provided are not worth they don't add value to students. Getting a placement or internship here is very difficult you have to be very extraordinary to get one of these.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very bad not even basic facilities like clean drinking water are there. The building is very old and rusty. Wi-Fi is there but it doesn't work. There are some labs but computers in there are very old, some of them don't even work.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but they don't have the level of knowledge which they should have. Faculty is disgusting they don't even listen to our problems they don't see us as a student they are like who are you we won't do your work we will do work according to our convenience. Semester exams are not so hard they can be cleared easily if studied appropriate.

It has good faculty members but not campus.
Placements: My course is BA programming. The strength is good in this course in my college. It offers various choices to students for their course selection. The lowest package offered is 3 LPA and the highest package is 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DITTO, Baza Alliance, Mamaearth, RC1, Glinks, and many more. More than 50 students from my college got placed this year from the placement fair with a package that ranges from 10-13 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not up to the mark. The campus is very small. Canteen food is not eatable. No hostel is there in my college. Medical facilities are not provided as far as I know. In games, my college is good but no such ground is there for practice.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and helpful. Most of them are PhD holders. The course curriculum is not related to industry criteria. Semester exams are of moderate level. We only have to write as much as we can to attain good marks. The pass percentage is 80%. Semester exams can be done with SOL notes. The college staff members are very good.
Other: My course choice is history and political science which I am interested in. I would give a suggestion to decrease the burden of assignment writing and increase the PPT, group discussion, and fieldwork so it can lead to holistic development. Our college fest is not very up to the mark. It's only like a normal college function. The crowd is good but the campus surroundings are very smelly and less developed.
