Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements in 2019, really good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: Only 10% of students got placed in 2019. The highest package was 4.2 LPA. The lowest salary was 2.4 LPA. Top recruiter in my time was LTTS. Only 20% of students got internships from my course at Railway and Wagon. Top role offered in the course was design engineer and that too in LTTS. Don't expect good placements for mechanical engineering.

Infrastructure: Excellent Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms were available. Hostel was also good with a quiet environment. We had very pleasant environment. There was a canteen at the entrance where you could not eat good food. Good medical facilities and sports competitions were held to encourage students. Food at the hostel was not so good but not bad also.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and qualified with good knowledge. Course curriculum was relevant but not sure if it made industry-ready. Exams were not so difficult because it was affiliated with JNTU when I was studying. At that time, the pass percentage was over 80%.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in cars and design. More practical knowledge should be included. Fests and extra curricular were all good.

An honest review of my college.

Placements: In my college, placements are quite good. In the past year, out of 130, above 100 students got placed. The highest salary package offered is around 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is about 2.2 LPA. There are many companies based on design. South companies come from automobiles. Other companies like Hyundai Motors, etc., visit the college. In the mechanical engineering course, we can get a junior engineer role. We can also approach to design engineer.

Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. It has good and well-maintained Wi-Fi. In classrooms, instead of having boards, they have panels to teach in a more technical way. We also have a central library. It has many books related to my course. We have access to all books. We also have a gym, canteen, indoor shuttle stadium, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified. Some of them are pursuing Ph.D. Some have Ph.D. degrees. They have a lot of teaching experience. Some have more than 15 years of teaching experience. Some have above 10 years of teaching experience. The course curriculum makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult in our college. Many students pass exams.

Other: I chose this course because I like mechanical engineering. There is growth in future in this field. The best thing about my course is that we can interact with the applications of things that we are working on. It is like the real world and real things that are happening. We can improve the syllabus by updating and introducing new technology and more advanced integrated things like AI. Every year, our college conducts a technical fest. Many events are going on in our college. We have festival events.
