Teaching quality is not good. They provide placements for the students.
Placements: We did get many opportunities because it was pandemic. While we are passing now, they are providing some compensation for placement. They're also providing some placement training for students. The students of the entire college do not get placements from single companies.
Infrastructure: We had a playground in our hostel, and we also tried hostel facilities. Boys hostels are not very good. There is no gym or medical service in the hostel. The campus has a good library, which has all the books available for semester exams. Mess food and snacks are not good.
Faculty: Teaching is not good. They are not well qualified. They don't have any practical knowledge. Most of the teachers have a friendly manner. But I enjoyed it with my wonderful friends. It was a great experience. The time I spent at SSM College of Engineering was very good.

It is the best college for students.
Placements: Placements were very good. Almost 100% of students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies visited our college for recruitment. The salary package was decent.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was excellent. Classrooms were well-maintained. Hostel was decent. The food served in the mess was great.
Faculty: Professors were educated. All teachers completed their degrees. The teaching quality was good. Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable.
Other: It was the best sports college. Sports events were conducted in this college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor faculty and facilities.
Placements: Placements in our college are average. I have never seen an MNC visiting our campus. However, they provide 100% placement, and it is true. But, the companies are poor. They provide an average salary of Rs. 8,000 per month. The highest salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. But, the main thing is that the jobs offered are not related to our field, i.e., computer science. Mostly, insurance companies and finance companies recruit students from our campus and offered roles in marketing.
Infrastructure: The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, but the usage is limited to 20 Mb per day per device. The first-year building is very good, but the department buildings are too bad. Washrooms are more than 15 years old and not good. There is no vehicle available during medical emergencies. If any incident takes place, then the vehicle of any of the staff members is used. Books available in the library are too old. There are no books for regulation since 2013. Sports and games are average.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members in our college are poor, even they are learning while teaching. None of the faculty members knows the basics of C or C+ programming in our computer science department. They are teaching not to provide knowledge, but for the students to pass the examination. They can't explain anything related to the subject without using study material.

I am slightly disappointed with the way they are managing the business school students.
Placements: I could say that the placement cell is below par. But, most of the students were placed in small-scale firms and companies. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 7,500 per month and the highest salary was Rs. 17,000 per month. Companies like Goodwill Commodities, Cafeteria, Indoshell, Sri Kannapiran Mills, LGP, Aqua Sub, and Citi Bank visited our college for recruitment. Most of the roles offered to the students were related to public relations officer, sales and marketing executive, and front office executives. There's no such thing like stipend or internship from our college. Our placement cell is not much efficient.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, as far as the basic needs are concerned. Wi-Fi facility is provided only for hostellers. Labs are good. Classrooms are spacious enough and tidy. The library is excellent. Medical facilities are below par. The college doesn't give much importance to sports and games. Quality of food is good. Hostel rooms are not much spacious, and you have to share your 12*16 rooms with 4 people. The sports grounds are not good.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were not experienced because of the floating happening around the college. I've seen many professors quitting their job because of low salary, which ended up with inexperienced faculty replacement. The teaching quality depends on the individual. The student-faculty ratio is 21:1. We got industry exposure but just as a formality, we didn't gain much knowledge. The course curriculum is designed by Anna University, so it's always well-planned.
Other: A lot of cultural activities are conducted throughout the year. The college celebrates all religious and language functions. The campus is spread over 41 acres accommodating 2000 students, so it's pretty good. But, the college is located in a slightly remote area, so public access is limited. Scholarships are provided by the government.

Not very satisfied with the teaching medium first and foremost. Even though infrastructure is well.
Placements: The placements offered were not good, just local companies that provide very less salary. For seniors, the placements were good, but this year no good placements were offered. The companies which are asking for the sales executive and marketing executive only are coming that provides less salary and heavy work.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are good separate blocks for the separate departments in the college. The college canteen is bad and bad Wi-Fi. The labs depend on the department that you are in. The medical facilities are bad. The sports facilities are great even for the girls. The library is very well-maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and loving. Strictness is truly existing. The qualifications of the teachers are good. Teaching medium is said to be English, but they use Tamil only as students prefer that. The teaching is only done theoretically, and practical is very less.
Other: Only annual day, sports day, Onam, and Pongal are celebrated. No interesting fests.

My opinion about the college is that it is a good college with good and experienced faculty members.
Placements: Various national companies visit the college for on-campus placement of students from various engineering departments. Most of the civil engineering students get an average placement of 4 LPA-4.5 LPA. The highest placement offered is 7 LPA. Mostly the college prefers to get the toppers of college in good multinational companies.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure and good clean campus. For sports, various grounds and courts are available. In the main ground, the college has planted beautiful almond trees, which enhance the charm of the campus more. The college has various labs equipped with modern instruments machines and equipment.
Faculty: The college has very highly qualified faculty members with more than 10 years of experience in teaching and the field work. The curriculum prescribed by them is very useful and applicable in the present technical world. The faculty always updates students according to the latest technical and scientific knowledge in the present world. The course curriculum is always more practical rather than theoretical. To get what the present and future times requires regarding technology.
