Placements: SSM Institute of Engineering and Technology placements are very good in 2021. 95% of the mechanical department students got placed in reputed companies. Yamaha, Hyundai, TVS, Bajaj, Ola, TCS, and Infosys companies visit this college for campus recruitment. The salary package ranges from 3-10 LPA.

Infrastructure: SSM Institute of Engineering and Technology has more high-tech modern laboratories. More spacious and comfortable classrooms are available in this college. Good library facilities are also there in this college. This college has good sports grounds. Well-maintained hostels are also available in this college. The hostel and canteen food quality is very good.

Faculty: The college staff members are more knowledgeable and experienced. They completed more master's degrees and PhD. So they are teaching to students very well. They are very friendly. They conduct more extracurricular activities every semester. They are very helpful to our internship and placements. 95% of students pass in exams every semester.

Other: This college has more laboratory facilities. This college management provides good transportation facilities. This college management celebrates more festival events like Pongal, Deepavali, etc.

Placements: In my course, 60% of students are studying artificial intelligence and machine learning. In the future of the world, this course provides a minimum salary of 3 LPA and a maximum of 5 LPA. Companies provide jobs in this course at SSM Institute of Engineering and Technology College.

Infrastructure: Our college building is very good. There are many facilities in our college. There are many labs in our college like a chemistry lab, PSPP lab, and physics lab. There is a cafeteria and main canteen on the campus. The cafeteria is on the third floor of the campus. The food quality is the best.

Faculty: The teaching of the faculty is very good and clear to understand the subject and topics. Every month, they take students on industrial visits and teach them practically. They are very helpful in the semester exam. They provide question banks and important questions to study to score good marks.

Placements: I graduated with a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2024. Approximately 70-80% of students from our batch secure placements. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, while the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters include L&T Construction and Shobana. About 60% of students obtain internships, primarily in local firms and startups. The most common roles offered include Software Developer, QA Engineer, and System Analyst.

Infrastructure: SSMIET boasts a well-maintained campus with modern infrastructure. The Computer Science department is equipped with advanced labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and smart classrooms. The library is extensive, offering a collection of books and digital resources. The hostel facilities are commendable, with clean rooms accommodating four students each, individual lockers, and daily housekeeping. The annual hostel fee is Rs. 48,000. Review of SSM Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Almost 60% of students were placed last year. Students secure many internships during their 3rd and 4th years. Our college has ties with many reputable companies that hire many of our students. The average package at our college is approximately 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college is fully equipped with Wi-Fi. All classrooms have projectors for high-technology learning. We participate in almost every event and competition held in other colleges in and around the district. We also have a well-developed gym for our bodybuilders and a canteen for student refreshment.

Faculty: The teachers are all well-qualified to train their students in the engineering stream. We study topics relevant to our field of science. Our college management takes us to many industries so that we can gain practical knowledge of industrial work.

Other: The current trend is all about technology and improvements in artificial intelligence. Our campus is always engaged in various events, whether technical or non-technical.

SSMIET Reviews for the Year 2025.

Placements: 45% of the students get well placements and internships in industries, but I don't know very well because our college doesn't share these details with students publicly. The highest average package is 80k/month and the lowest package is 25k/month. TCS is one of the companies, and 45% of the students got internships in good companies. Business Analyst and Data Scientist.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good in our college, but Wi-Fi is not available, and the network coverage is poor inside classrooms, labs, and all. I don't know about the hostel, but I know that the hostel is in good condition and a nice place. Medical facilities are good, and they support sports and games.

Faculty: 50% of the faculty are very good and manage students like family members, while the other 50% are not calm. Yes, this course curriculum is relevant for me, but it does not help students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are of medium difficulty, and the pass percentage is 50%.

Other: No, I didn’t like this course at first because I need AI. This course could be improved by adding real-life applications. There are no events or fests in our college; it is simply a waste. I am not applicable for any scholarships.
