Our college is good with placements, college life, etc.
Placements: In our college, almost 60-70% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs.4,500 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs.2000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Havells, Siemens, V-Gaurd, Polycab, etc., visit our campus. Almost 30–40% of students get internships from the above-mentioned companies. The top role offered is an electrical engineer.
Infrastructure: We have free Wi-Fi in the area. Labs are recently renovated and very modern. Classrooms are very well maintained, clean, and smart. The hostel is average in cleanliness but the food served is good. The mess and canteen are always very clean. We have an indoor sports area.
Faculty: At our college, almost 90% of teachers are very qualified and helpful. They are very knowledgeable and use modern technology to teach and give excellent notes. The course curriculum is good, but it could be better. For semester examinations, it is not difficult to get passing marks and around 75% of students pass exams.
Other: Our college is very active in everything like events, festivals, politics, etc. If you try to be involved in activities, you will have an excellent college life.

Excellent Infrastructure and Industry-Relevant Curriculum.
Placements: I completed a Diploma in Computer Engineering at SSM Polytechnic College, Komarapalayam, Namakkal, in 2020. 85% were placed, with packages ranging from ?1.8-?4.5 LPA (avg. ?3 LPA). Top recruiters: TCS, Infosys, Wipro. 70% got internships. Key roles: developed, tester.
Infrastructure: Our department had advanced labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a well-stocked library. Hostel facilities were good with clean rooms, nutritious mess food, a canteen, and 24/7 medical aid. Sports facilities included a gym, courts for badminton, cricket, and football.
Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable, offering practical insights and quality teaching. The curriculum was industry-relevant, focusing on technical and soft skills. Exams were moderate challenging, with a pass percentage of 85%. .
Other: I chose a Diploma in Computer Engineering (2020 batch) at SSM Polytechnic for its practical focus and career opportunities. The best part was hands-on labs and industry exposure. Improvements needed in advanced tools. We had teach fests, scholarships, and a vibrant campus with good connectivity and extracurricular.
