College campus diaries.

Placements: I heard that there are no campus placements in our college because it is a 3rd tier college. I have also heard that someone secured a 40K package through campus placement. For our degree, there are no campus placements. We need to apply on our own if we want placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: College is pretty old but still looks good. Specifically, our college building is around 600 meters away from the main gate of the campus. So, we need to walk a particular distance to get there. Practical labs are equipped with air conditioning, which they turn on during summer. Overall, it is average.

Faculty: Faculty is good and they teach very well. There is around 1 teacher for every 50 students. There are different teachers for different subjects. They support us at any moment. I recently gave exams, and I need to tell that they are very strict during exam times.

Full dissatisfied and useless old syllabus they provide you and teachers are also useless.

Placements: Only 5% of students are placed by their own, College do not provide any placements. The highest package is 3.5 lacs package and minimum 1 lakh package. None of them got internships. No one from any company came to us for any job opportunities. And also same for internships.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good for all the course, library are very old and useless. Hostel is okay. None of their facilities are good according to me except the bus service which they provide from bus station to college campus. They haven't have any facilities for students. Wi-Fi is also useless sees: 30kb.

Faculty: Teaching quality is poor. Some teachers are out of their field in what they are teaching. Exams are good enough to pass. The course they provide is 7 year old of 2013 that is useless in nowadays industry they are not serious with this topic also .

Other: I was interested in computers so, I had gone with B.Sc. CS and you can do anything in this field after graduation. New whole course and syllabus (the latest) should be added. College held only one mega event in 3 year.

Overall, students can trust this college.

Placements: A minimum percentage is not required. You can get admission easily in computer science if seats are available. In our course, the maximum salary offered is Rs. 36,500 per month. Recruiting companies for CS are Wipro, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra and Cognizant.

Infrastructure: Facilities in our course are the best, and the infrastructure also looks very good. Classrooms, labs and library facilities are very good. We get facilities in the canteen. For sports, if you have all materials, then you have a better chance.

Faculty: Teachers are superb, and they all help students at any time in classrooms. They all are polite. Semester exams are very similar to university exams. Questions come from the syllabus only, and the pass percentage is 40% in the semester exams.

It has awesome crowd and campus life.

Placements: The college tries to bring companies to the college. Still, very few good job opportunities are available in the city. Many students from the college apply for jobs in nearby cities like Mumbai, Surat and Vadodara. Seniors will guide juniors on how to apply for jobs.

Infrastructure: The college has a well-developed and lush green campus. It has well-equipped library and sports complex. The college has various labs for science students and are well-equipped. The computer lab is very advanced and updated. The college also has AC hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are a bit expensive but provide good quality food and accommodation for students.

Faculty: The college is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, and the exams are therefore tough. Some teachers are quite pathetic and will scold you for no reason. Still, you can clear the semester exams by attending lectures and revising one day before exams.

Other: The college organises an annual day and fests, which are now cancelled due to Covid. The college also conducts many sports events and competitions and celebrates various days.

It is a pretty good college, but with some limitations.

Placements: Placements in our college are good especially if you are doing a master's degree, B.Sc. in computer science or BCA. However, placements are not good in a bachelor's degree. Almost 60% of the students get placement and the average salary package offered is about 4 LPA to 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bayer, Huber, Aarti, Kotak Mahindra Bank, etc.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good especially the labs, computer, chemistry microbiology, etc. I have some friends who live in the college hostel and they said that the hostel is average. I would say the library is very nice and almost you will get every book you want. The college has a Wi-Fi connection but we do not get to use it.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very supportive and well qualified. The course curriculum in B.Sc. computer science is like any other college. I don't know much about any other course curriculum but in computer science, the course is good. In semester exams, till 4th semester, the exam difficulty level is very from easy to moderate level. But, in semesters 5&6 i.e., final year, the papers are tough.

Other: The best thing about my course is I got to know more about programming languages like C, Python, Java, and Algo. I wish if I got to know more about web development courses like HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The college celebrates an annual day called Vision every alternate year. Those students who are good in studies, they get scholarships also.

I am greatly satisfied due to good faculty members, teachers.

Placements: Almost 95% of students gets placement In CS faculty. And same in other faculty members too. According to your skills you get paid with a minimum of 6-10 Lacs per annum to 15-20 Lacs per annum. There are many recruiting companies near silvassa. Top roles offered are IT developers or managers and many more.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is pretty good. They have huge campus with a sports complex, canteen and also a library where you get to read different good and knowledgeable books. They also have labs for different subjects. They also provide medical facilities and also sports and games.

Faculty: The teachers and staff are also friendly and helpful and they help students with their studies and other extra curricular activities. They also give more practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge and have great knowledge even about topics that are not in syllabus.

Other: Since CS field has great faculty, helpful teachers and staff and more practical knowledge is provided with other projects and extra activities. Also different fest and events are organized which gives a proper college feel.
