B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028

Very happy with the faculty, good placements in 2017, well-reserved infrastructure of the college.
Placements: Our college started in 1983, and it is a very reputed college. The placement is about 60 percent in college. The highest package was 6 LPA. Very famous companies took interviews in our college and selected students who can help their company in the future for growth. The highest placement was from the computer engineering department.
Infrastructure: I am from the mechanical department, and our college has a separate building for each department. Our department has the most number of labs in our college, like fluid mechanics lab, CAD lab, mechanics, etc. The labs are well maintained. Hostel facilities are also very nice and very affordable. The library of our college is very vast and has plenty of books.
Faculty: The teachers of the college are highly educated and well-experienced. They teach with their full effort and focus on practical knowledge instead of only learning the books. They create interest in the course. The teaching helps the students to enter the industry. Exams are knowledge and concept-based, so we have to study well for the examination. The passing percentage is 24%.
Other: There are many courses in our college, like computer engineering, mechanical, civil, E&TC, electronics, and computer, which are the most demanding courses in the industry. I chose this course because I have an interest in machines. The best thing about the course is that the course is very demanding. I don't think there is a need to improve anything because everything is going alright in the mechanical department. Events are celebrated in a very good manner. The students of the college are also very friendly. The campus of the college is very huge with a big playground. The scholarship is 50,000 in the college. The tutors motivate us to take part in extracurricular activities.

It is a good college with average faculty.
Placements: This college provides good placements for students. I'll never recommend this college for placements. Only 5-10% of students get placed in this college every year. Software engineer, mechanical engineer, etc., are the top roles offered. Tata, TCS, and Infosys are the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The campus and hostel are excellent. Free Wi-Fi is available, and the classrooms are in the best condition. The quality of food available in the hostel is average. The library of this college is very well-maintained by the librarian. The chemistry lab is good.
Faculty: The faculty are average. I'll rate them 5 out of 10. The teachers are well qualified and experienced but not dedicated. Semester exams are conducted strictly. Regular lectures are conducted by the faculty members.

It's a good college if you want to get a degree without knowledge and with lots of fun with friends.
Placements: There were no placements during my tenure at the college. Only 2 students got placed during my tenure, and even they got placed in some IT companies. For mechanical engineering, many companies visit here, but in our college, the placement officer is not very active in inviting companies at least once. From our course, students get high salary packages, but from our college, none of the students got such high salary packages. After passing out from college, students will get a job with a salary of only Rs. 12,000 per month in Pune, which is not worth learning and a very bad thing. You do not get placed from our college.
Infrastructure: In our college, there was no Wi-Fi or free internet during my tenure. However, labs were good, but there were no teachers for teaching, so I think there was no use in having good labs. The library was good, but sometimes, lights and fans don't work in the room. There is only one staff member to keeps all records of books. Classrooms were the only one most beautiful thing I like in our college. The playground was also beautiful to sit with friends and was a very nice place for all other activities. Hostels were not much good, and in the canteen, you will get only samosa and not more than that. The food served in the mess can be eatable. Sports and games are good.
Faculty: During my tenure, teachers were helpful and very experienced. But after the 2017 batch, all these teachers resigned from our college due to low salaries. However, their teaching was very beautiful, and I like the teachers most. I understood all subjects very quickly. But for some subjects, there are newly joined teachers who are not much knowledgeable. So, I found it difficult while understanding.
Other: I always like to learn about machines and wanted to become a mechanical engineer, so I chose this course. You will always learn something new every day in the industry, and you will get to interact with people who like machines. Our college needs to be improved a lot, and it needs to hire many better staff members. Otherwise, everything is very good, and there is no problem with getting admission and getting a degree from here. You can get a degree, but you should have to find a job on your own.

The faculty are good, but the placements are very bad.
Placements: In 2017, only 3 students got placed. Only 1 company came to the campus. For mechanical students, the highest package offered was 1.44 LPA. The placement cell is not good. No one got an internship. No top companies come for this course. The college doesn't even try to provide placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. All the facilities like Wi-Fi, library, etc., are available. The college provides good chances for sportspersons, and the college is especially focused on the chess competition. The canteen is not so good. Wi-Fi is good, but they don't give us its password and all. There is no big playground to play cricket.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good. Senior staff are available for the mechanical branch. They have good knowledge about the subjects. They relate theory to practical things. They try to provide practical knowledge also.
Other: I chose mechanical because it is a core and good branch.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the campus placements. Think twice before joining this college.
Placements: There were no placements for my batch. Not a single company visited our college. Other colleges are providing placements in good companies. Our college staff don't arrange interviews. Only one IT company came for interviews. Other than that, not a single mechanical core company came here.
Infrastructure: The canteen is like chain tapari. The hostel is huge, but no hygiene is maintained. The environment is good because you will get everything outside the college. No Wi-Fi is available. The labs are good, but there are no good teachers to teach you. A library is available.
Faculty: During my tenure, 3 teachers were very good. But they left college because they are not given the value they deserve. They joined other colleges. Other teachers are good, but they all are new. They don't have any industry knowledge, but mechanical engineering demands industry knowledge. Some teachers are good, but they teach in the coaching classes. You have to pay money outside to learn something from them.
Other: No one got placed from our batch. They all got placed outside the college on their own. Not a single teacher cares about your placements, they only care about completing the syllabus. Events are good, and many boys participate in the events.

I am satisfied with our college experience.
Placements: About 50% of the students got placed from the 2019-2020 batch. The highest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.28 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Tata, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. About 20% of the students got an internship. Top roles offered to the students are automation engineer, research and development engineer, senior mechanical engineer, senior design engineer and powertrain engineer.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi, but labs and college library are huge. Quality of food in the canteen is very good. Our college has a very big playground where students can play, and our college arranges many sports activities. Our college has medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified, and their teaching quality is also very good. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Teachers can solve every doubt of students, and they are always progressive towards students' development.
Other: I have chosen this course because I have an interest in it. The good thing about this course is students can get a job through their knowledge.

Absolutely excellent college because of faculty, good placements, and really good infrastructure.
Placements: In 2018, around 80 students got placed in MNCs from the mechanical engineering department, and overall, 150 students were placed from college. Students got placed in various places like in Pune, Bangalore, Nashik Dhule etc. In 2019, Election company of the finance department has recruited 30 students.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. It is available in labs as well. The campus has the best classrooms with projectors. A library is available with the books related to all the departments and Nirali textbooks. A huge ground is available for sports and games. Practical labs have new and old technology and machinery. The canteen provides good food. Hostel rooms are available. Overall, the infrastructure are very good.
Faculty: PhD holding faculty members are available. They are highly knowledgeable and helpful. The teaching quality is good. In all departments, 12 to 15 teachers and 4 to 5 lab assistants are available. Various courses like mechanical, civil, computer, E&TC, electrical, etc., are offered in the college.
Other: Spandan, technofest and various events are organised in the college. Sports and games like cricket, chess and kabbadi are organised.

Less placements in 2020. Average college infrastructure and facilities are good.
Placements: 1. About 30 percent students were placed. 2. Five lacs the highest, lowest 2 lacs and average 3.5 lacs salary was offered. 3. TATA Steel, Bosch are the top recruiters. 4. Trainee engineer is the highest role offered. 5. The highest 5, the lowest 2 and average 3.5 lacs was offered to our course. 6. About 30% of students get internship in various local company such as ujjwal automobiles, BSNL etc.
Infrastructure: 1. In our college various facilities are provided such as Wi-Fi to each department and big classroom with well ventilation. Library has good variety of books But they only provide 3 books for each student. 2. Quality of facilities in hostel are average as dormitory are not clean and canteen does not have enough quality of food.
Faculty: 1. All the teachers are well qualified. But some teachers don't take too much effort for improvement in their learning process. As the teaching method is very tedious. But selective Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. 2. The course curriculum is traditional which emphasize bookish knowledge and does fill the gap between real life engineering problems.
Other: 1. I like basically energy transformation phenomenon and machines so choose this course. My course is very important as this course gives us ideas about renewable energy sources. 2. Course should be industry oriented and focus on understanding. 3.Fests are organised. Scholarship is provided.
