My review of this college.
Placements: They had the best placement cell. Every year, interviews from various MNCs and other companies were conducted for the passing out students, and they were assisted by the college for their success. Companies were highly reputed and followed strict rules and regulations while choosing their employees. They arrived at our college during the month of December, conducted interviews, and gave the list of selected candidates, who then joined their company after their graduation.
Infrastructure: Facilities in the hostel included broadband internet access, housekeeping, dry cleaning, and laundry services. Hostels also provided a neat and green environment with sports facilities for students to relax and enjoy their stay. Hostels had mess facilities at subsidized rates where students can enjoy nutritious and hygienic food.
Faculty: My faculty members were very good. They were supported us very well. Good teaching was as much about passion as it was about reason. It was about motivating students not only to learn, but teaching them how to learn, and doing so in a manner was relevant, meaningful, and memorable. Good teaching was about substance and treating students as consumers, and that’s how my lecturer taught us. At the start of the semester, we had an internal assessment exam along with a quiz and lab practical, each worth 40 marks. Then, after a month, we had the main semester exam. The course was, no doubt, world-class and competitive with any international school. Courses like Environment, Development Economics, Game Theory, and Industrial Economics were some of the value-added subjects, along with the specialization in Econometrics, which gave a competitive advantage to students.

My review of this college.
Placements: We had many companies assigned to our college. There were many reputed ones. The highest-paying companies came for job placements and summer internships. Some companies that came last year were JP Morgan, UBS, RBS, Credit Suisse, American Express, MasterCard, Experian, Deloitte, Bajaj Finserv, Nomura, and many more. The stipend ranged from Rs.50,000 to 1.2 Lakh per month, and the final placements paid between 10 and 31 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities in the hostel included broadband internet access, housekeeping, dry cleaning, and laundry services. Hostels also provide a neat and green environment with sports facilities for students to relax and enjoy their stay. Hostels had a mess facility at subsidized rates where students could enjoy nutritious and hygienic food.
Faculty: The course syllabus was updated year after year as new batches entered. Professors saw that when something new topic in the field has been researched, they generally put that thing into the course. My faculty was very good. They supported us very well. Good teaching was as much about passion as it was about reason. It was about motivating students not only to learn but also teaching them how to learn and doing so in a manner that was relevant, meaningful, and memorable. Good teaching was about substance and treating students as consumers. The course curriculum was very rigorous, as you had to follow the enormous syllabus regularly along with classes. In-house exams were conducted from time to time for the partial syllabus, and the end-semester exams were held for the complete syllabus.

The best college from my experience.
Placements: St. Philomena's College has a dedicated placement cell that works to facilitate job opportunities for its students. Half of the college students will be placed in many companies. Coming companies - Modal, Infosys, Concentrix, Wipro, and so many companies will visit our campus. Coming to the package it depends on the company standards. I think it does not exceed 3 lacs.
Infrastructure: Students will be asked to undertake project work every sem. Including the college projects under the guidance of professors giving more practical knowledge. We have not taken for the industrial visits which would beat next semester. We have 6 sharing rooms and it has bunker beds along with attached bathrooms and food is provided 24/7. Mostly the food there is South Indian and it is okay-ish. Currently, I stay in PG the PG room is good all facilities are provided and the food is good and homely.
Faculty: The chemistry department has got 5 lectures and each one of them is highly qualified and with exceptional knowledge and teaches the students very efficiently. They have published various articles regarding their research and let the students know more about it. Periodic workshops, and lecturing will be done. My course of B.Sc. has been really good because I think the college is very successful in thinking out of the box and students get a lot of exposure here and become ready for the outside world. There are internal lab practical assignments and semester examinations.

Philomena was a very wide campus, neat and clean.
Placements: Some of the startup companies arrived at college for providing students with internships. They selected students, but there was no stipend. They hired on the basis of their criteria, like percentage and the skill set required. Campus interviews were undertaken very rarely, and some students got selected in campus interviews.
Infrastructure: Along with studies, co-curriculum activities were conducted. Talents day and annual college day were the best celebrations. In the talents day programme, we had to show our hidden talents, which was very fun. And speaking of the library, it was also loaded with lots of different modes of book collection. Throw ball, volleyball, kabaddi, and many other sports were conducted during sports day.
Faculty: There are too few facilities in the department. But the ones who are present give us enough good resources for studying. The problem is with the time they provide between unit test papers, meaning they conduct two papers per day and give hardly an hour between two papers.

One of the best college to study.
Placements: Placements were good with an average package of 6-7 Lacs and with the highest package of 22 Lacs. The package was quite good. If you do not get placed, you can apply to the college department by clearing their entrance exam. Some of the top reputed companies have visited our college.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility provided by our college is good. The rooms of our hostel are nice as two students share one room. The room has basic facilities inside it. We have a good dining facility and the food we get is very delicious.
Faculty: I like Mathematics and the course is also well structured so I chose this course. Faculty also try to relate things to a real-life problem. They enhance the capability of problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. Overall, the way they teach is good, but they can improve it more. Also, the timing between 1st and second minor was too short that we didn't get much time to prepare well due to lot of syllabi.

It is the greatest college of my life.
Placements: Every batch gets 100% placement every year. Batch sizes are generally small (around 20-25 people), and there are ample opportunities to get into a renowned organisation unless one messes up badly. Summer internship opportunities are provided to every student by the placement committee of the course. Final placements are also handled by the placement committee, and teachers take no part in the placement of this course. The average summer internship package is around Rs, 60,000 for 2 months, and the average salary package offered during final placement is around 10.5 LPA, with the highest salary package offered being 14 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are really good here. No sharing, one room for one person. Water quality is not that good in hostels, and mess facilities are not very good. The registration process is not very difficult here since it's a residential program, and everyone is allotted a hostel. The hostel fee is affordable.
Faculty: The curriculum is well-designed by our college, and they have some classes assigned just to mentor students, where they can improve their communication, leadership, and presentation skills. It helped me to face a huge audience. The reason to choose a particular course is because of the teachers and syllabus they have. Exams are conducted after 4/5 months of the course. The teaching method is excellent.
