Positive and negative aspects of St. Xavier's Catholic College of Engineering.

Placements: To be very honest, I got selected in Infosys as Human Resources Manager arranged by the college placements with a package of 4.5 Lacs per annum. We have active internship offers, which were arranged by the college management. Also, our placement in-charges keep in connection with various companies.

Infrastructure: Departmental libraries are placed in every block. Also, in the main library, various journals, periodicals, and newspapers are placed. Also, new books are bought at the end of each month. They show their special concern in maintaining the campus.

Faculty: Academic performance keeps on increasing every year because of well-updated and knowledgeable lecturers. We have no set frequencies in writing exams, tests, and assignments. We often wrote exams to upgrade our marks in semesters. We were punished when we failed to submit assignments.

If you want to study in Kanyakumari itself, then go for it.

Placements: Since the college is in Kanyakumari, you cannot expect any placements because there are no companies in the region. But the students have got placed by several companies all around Tamilnadu and Kerala. Regarding the pay scale, you cannot expect anything higher than 20,000 around TN since you are a fresher.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms are good. You can even get the food from the canteen with the quality you expect. The hostel facility seems to be a little expensive but the services are worthy. I personally recommend you to stay in the hostel in order to feel the complete college life with friends.

Faculty: You can get the best and the worst faculty members in the college. Most of the heads of the departments in the college are half-minded. But, some of the faculty members really have the knowledge to make you better. At the same time, you have to watch out yourself from some faculty members who are always the troublemakers.

Placements: 1. In my college 60 student only allowed to study course of MBA. Its engineering too. 2.10000 to 6000 salary offered. 3. Wipro, HTC, TCS many of company recruiting. 4. Management, planning, communication roles offered. 5.48000 to 35000 package offered in my college. 6.50% of students got internship.

Infrastructure: St. xavier Catholic college of engineering is good infrastructure and atmosphere is nice lab facility are good and maintenance. Wi-Fi with high-speed available in campus. Class room is clean and smart. Class taken by using a project. Hostel facility is good. Mess and canteen is always good.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful for subject and knowledgeable. Lot of extra curricular activities conducted. It used to improve the communication, develop the various skills. Teaching quality is always good. Notes are provided for all the subject. Many industrial visits are there in college.

Other: 1. My aim is to become a manager so I chose this course.
