I'm quite satisfied with college life, but please think twice before.
Placements: Recently, the top role was offered by Meesho at 37 LPA, and generally, McKinsey and other top companies hire students from our college. If you're doing well in studies and have the skills, you can land around 8-12 LPA. CFA is a bonus on top of the degree.
Infrastructure: I would say the infrastructure is quite good. It may appear to be an old-looking legacy college, but it has developed modern infrastructure. The library has one of the oldest books available. Classrooms are where it doesn't go up to mark ( because there's AC in only 50% classes). Wi-Fi and labs are all top-notch.
Faculty: I wouldn't say Xavier's has the best faculty, except for a few. But the curriculum and exams are always conducted as per UGC standards, and the focus is to make students job-ready. Semester exams are very difficult compared to other colleges. The pass percentage is generally 50-60% in our campus.
Other: This is the best option if you're pursuing other courses on top of B.Com. I would say Xavier's itself offers the name and reputation, and the crowd here is very good, which will help in networking. Please enjoy the college life through college societies, which also help in developing extracurricular skills.

Review of St. Xavier's College Kolkata.
Placements: The cutoff after boards is 92-93%, and there are about 600 students in the B.Com Morning Course. The average package for the college is 75,000 per month, and there are a lot of companies that offer placements on campus. The companies usually are the Big Four and Big Six companies and various local companies and MNCs as well.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are huge and can house around 100 students, and most of the classrooms have AC. There are several labs and auditoriums in the college, and the library is very large with ample amounts of books and space for studying, and a canteen as well. The campus is also very big and has several halls and auditoriums.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is great as well. There are a total of 5 periods every day, each lasting 40 minutes. The curriculum is very relevant to other B.Com courses in other colleges, and it is sufficient for the students. The exams are quite regular with 2 exams every semester and seminars to support those exams as well, which are added to the CIA Marks.
Other: I chose this course as the morning timing is quite convenient, even though it is very early. It runs from 6 AM to 10 AM, and there are several events and fests conducted by various clubs and societies in the college, such as Xavotsav, Oncampus, Prism, Initium, etc.

College life is too good, the campus is good, but exams were tough, and the syllabus is too tough.
Placements: There were various roles like accounting, taxation, finance, and marketing, as well as rural marketing and international marketing. There were so many finance groups like TEDx, Hult Sxc, and Xavier's business group. Which gives student to think like an entrepreneur.
Infrastructure: The quality of food was good, as well as the environment, which was excellent, and there was a good unity among students. All students live like family, and the hostel staff were very nice to the students. They tried to give their best for the children, that's all.
Faculty: The faculty was too good. The examinations were too tough, and the environment during exams was too strict. If I talk about the passing percentage, then you have to score overall 40 out of 100 marks, I mean 30 marks from the examination and 5 marks for attendance.
Other: The fest, which was celebrated in college called Xavotsav, we celebrated with full joy, and a huge audience gathered there.

It's one of the best colleges in Kolkata.
Placements: Above 80% are placed in my course. As far as I am concerned, the highest is above 30-40 LPA, and the lowest is 2-3 LPA. Banks, LIC and various companies like those in gold jewellery and others recruited. All of the students in the course got the percentage, 90%. I can say students get placed in banking and international marketing.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is around 200-300 kbps, and as per the classroom, it is well maintained, and the electrical system is in good condition. The library is the best place to study as students can get a personal computer to study there, and people can bring their own electronics for studying. Various bookshelves are there with numerous books to study about the course, and also outside the course.
Faculty: If the students study well, the semester exams are not difficult. Failure percentage is 5-10%. The teachers are so well-educated and are qualified. The teachers are knowledgeable, and they teach with a lot of effort to make the students understand.
Other: Xavostav, a two-day concert once a year, celebrities are invited, and it is more likely to be a concert type.

The college has wonderful facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Approximately 20% of students are placed in B.Com Morning. Deloitte India, KPMG, PwC, HDFC Life, and Aditya Birla Capital are some top recruiting companies for B.Com Morning. Financial Analyst, HR, Audit, Banking, and Business Operations are some of the top roles offered in this course. The highest salary is Rs 25,000 per month from Deloitte India, the lowest is Rs 2,500 per month, and the average is Rs 15,000 per month from KPMG. Approximately 15-20% of students from this course get internships from Deloitte India, KPMG, and PwC.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in most parts of the campus. Computer labs are present for teaching-based learning. The library has e-resources, reading rooms, lending facilities, and an impressive collection of books and journals across disciplines. Food in the mess and canteen is freshly prepared and well maintained. It is tasty, comforting, and provides a variety of items.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and clear doubts during and after lecture hours. They provide interactive teaching, making the lectures lively and interesting. Commerce courses include papers on Accounting, Costing, Economics, Business Mathematics, and new subjects like Environmental Education and Management. These papers make the students industry ready. The semester exams in the college are moderately difficult. The passing percentage is approximately 80-85% but also depends on the particular subjects.

Mildly satisfied with the faculty, great opportunity for creating future connections.
Placements: 50 to 60% students get placed, the highest placement for economics is around 24LPA, and the lowest is 4LPA. Top recruiting companies are majorly consulting firms, the best being McKinsey. Internships are majorly internal if taken via college otherwise, its up to you what you want to do for your internship elsewhere, but you have to submit a report about the same. Top roles offered are those of a Data Analyst and a Financial Analyst, depending on what field you want to further pursue.
Infrastructure: The course is really good, although no Wi-Fi services in the classrooms and on campus. Hostels are below average because you have to return to your hostel vicinity by 7:30 to 8 pm maximum. Library is top notch with really good space for self study as well, and you can study at a pace of your mind. The food in hostels is decent, the medical facilities are decent, and sports and games within the college are really good overall.
Faculty: Faculty is good, with them actually caring about the students and trying to maintain a healthy relationship with students. The quality of teaching is somewhat on par, and most of them are highly knowledgeable and helpful. They try to encourage you to study what is outside the scope of the syllabus for your own knowledge. Course curriculum is relevant as a subject, but no modern day applications are presented, and it definitely does not make you industry ready. Semester exams are pretty normal, nothing too difficult, and pass percentage is really high, with just 4 to 5 students failing in my class at max.
Other: Value for money 100% due to a reasonable fee of 75k per year, and the crowd is also good, although its just people from West Bengal and barely anyone outside from other states. The campus life does not exist because it is so small, but the events within societies are really fun and good, and you gain a lot of experience from them, with a huge scope for connectivity and extensive extracurricular activities present as well.
