Surendranath College for Women: A Mixed Bag of Experiences.
Placements: Placement is not offered here, but what is taught practically will definitely be useful. Even video editing and photography (Adobe), news writing (QuarkEXpress) - all these things are taught. This college has its own tabloid which will provide opportunities in the field of news internship.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and bathrooms are always clean. The library is also well stocked with suitable books. Canteen food is prepared cleanly enough to maintain hygiene. Lab facilities (computers, Wi-Fi) are also very good. Sports and events are also held which encourage the students.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and teach well. The difficulty level of semester exams at Surendranath College for Women in Kolkata can vary, but generally, they are considered challenging.
