For admission to MBA course, students can get admission through a valid score of CAT/ CAT/ CMAT, which are the popular entrance exams specifically conducted for Management courses. Students can get admission to PhD either through its in-house entrance exam or can get admission through a valid score of CSIR NET/ GATE.

Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication provides PGDM courses, MBA, BMS, and Ph.D. courses to the students. The admissions to the courses are entrance-based. Admission in these courses is based on the score of exams such as MAH, MCA, and CET, admission is based on the score obtained in these exams (50% weightage), academic records (20% weightage), and GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview with 30% weightage). The candidates need to score a minimum percentile of 75.79 – 76.91. The seat allotment to the candidate is carried out according to the rank of the candidate and further, the candidate can apply for counselling after the exam.
