Review of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

Placements: In the previous year, almost 50% of students got placed in our college. Dr. Reddy's Laboratories offered internships to acquire knowledge of the industry. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Other pharmaceutical companies also offered jobs. Top recruiting software companies were TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: Our library has a lot of books beyond the pharmacy field. Classrooms have a good atmosphere where students like to learn. Our labs have sophisticated equipment. Our college provides hostels for both boys and girls with good food. A gym facility is available in the hostel.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. We have more than 30 teachers. The course is relevant to industrial needs. Semester exams are easy to pass for regular students.

Best Pharmacy College in the District.

Placements: As a third-year student, we have relatively good placement opportunities, with approximately 50–60% of students securing placements. The average package offered for freshmen is on the lower side, ranging from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month. Companies from our vicinity visit the campus twice or thrice a year for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are commendable. Labs provide a valuable hands-on experience, and each semester involves well-explained individual lab experiments. The library is well-stocked with pharmaceutical books. However, there is no on-campus hostel, and students need to find accommodation in nearby cities or villages.

Faculty: Experienced and supportive teachers contribute to our learning experience. They are well-qualified and provide helpful notes. Monthly slip tests are conducted, and the course curriculum is relevant, preparing students for careers in the pharmaceutical industry, hospital pharmacy, and government jobs. Semester exams are conducted diligently.

Other: This course offers excellent prospects. The key advantage is that good study performance can lead to an excellent salary, while those with a less robust academic record can still secure good jobs or open their pharmacy shops.

For Engineering stream (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry- MPC Background): Candidate must have passed 10+2 Examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry(MPC) as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000-2002 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. With minimum mentioned marks in the subjects specified (MPC) taken together at 10+2 pattern.
