Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune was established in 1978 and is a member of EFMD & EFMD Global network. The institute has been ranked 13 under the Management category by the NIRF 2024.
The SIBM Pune does consider previous academic records to a limited extent. To be eligible for admission to SIBM, you must have a minimum grade point average of 50% in your previous academic course. However, your SNAP entrance test score will be more important for your admission. The SNAP entrance test is conducted for admission to SIBM. If you scored a high percentile in this entrance test, you will be shortlisted for the Personal Interview rounds. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of the SNAP, and Group Exercise scores. In this, the SNAP scores have a maximum weight of around 50 percent. If you performed well in this selection round, your previous academic records will not impact much on your admission.
