How to Calculate SNAP Score?
SNAP result is prepared in percentile, which is calculated from the raw score gained by candidates in the test. There is no normalisation of scores in SNAP. Given below is the official marking scheme on the basis of which the SNAP score is calculated.
-
Total marks of SNAP exam is 60
-
1 mark is awarded for every correct attempt
-
0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer
- 0 marks are awarded for unanswered question
Total marks obtained in all the three sections of the SNAP question paper are added and the resulting overall score is scaled down to 50 to arrive at the candidate's final score. SNAP percentile is then calculated wrt total number of qualifying candidates and the final scorecard is prepared.
