SNAP result 2022 will be announced on January 10, 2023 and the scorecards will be available for download at the official website of SNAP 2022 and Symbiosis International (Deemed) University (SIU). Candidates will be able to check their SNAP result 2022 and download the scorecard by entering their SNAP exam ID and password. The scorecards of both attempts by the candidate will be issued on the same day.

Post the declaration of SNAP 2022 result, Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) will be conducted for all 15 SIU institutes. The final list of selected candidates will be announced by the end of February, 2023.

How to Download SNAP Result cum Scorecard 2022?

Once the SNAP 2022 result window will be made live on the exam website, candidates can download their result cum scorecard by following the steps mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of SNAP 2022 

  • Click on the 'Scorecard' tab 

  • Enter your SNAP ID and password

  • The SNAP scorecard will appear on the screen

  • Download it and take a print out

How to Calculate SNAP Score?

The SIU calculates SNAP score of each candidate on the basis of the official marking scheme mentiond below:

  • Total marks of the exam is 60

  • One mark is awarded for every correct attempt

  • 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer

  • Total marks obtained in all the three sections of the SNAP question paper are added and the resulting overall score is scaled down to 50 for final selection

What after SNAP Result 2022?

After the declaration of SNAP result 2022, successful candidates will be called for Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interaction (PI) rounds as part of the admission process. Every institute under SIU fixes its own cut off and selection process. Final shortlisting for admission will be done on the basis of GE-PI-WAT and overall SNAP percentile. The institutes under SIU will publish category-wise cut offs on their respective websites.

Candidates will be called by SIU institutes they had selected in the application form as their choice of institute for admission process. The SNAP admission process includes three stages:

  • Screening of students through SNAP score

  • GE/PI and WAT

  • Final selection of candidates

FAQs Regarding SNAP Result 2022

What is the SNAP 2022 result download date?

A: SNAP 2022 result will be announced on January 10. The result announcement date was notified in the exam schedule released on August 10. The exam will be held on December 10, 18 and 23.

Q: Is there a provision of marks revaluation in SNAP?

A:  No, there is no provision of rechecking or revaluation in SNAP. The scores mentioned on the SNAP scorecard will be considered final. If any candidate wishes to improve the score, then they will have to attempt the exam next year again.

Q: Will I receive my SNAP result by post?

A: The SNAP scorecard will not be sent to any candidate by post. SNAP result and scorecard will be available in online mode only for candidates to log in to their accounts and download it.

Q: Will I be able to use my SNAP 2022 score for admission to MBA programme 2024?

A: No, SNAP score is valid only for one year. Candidates can use their SNAP 2022 score for admission to only 2023 academic session. They will have to appear for the exam again if they plan to drop a year.

Q: Can I get admission if I do not clear the SNAP cut off?

A: No, any candidate who does not clear the SNAP cut off will not be eligible for admission to MBA programmers offered by SIU institutes. Meeting the minimum cut off is mandatory to be eligible for GE-PI-WAT.

Q: Which B-Schools accept SNAP scores?

A: SNAP scores are valid for admission to 16 institutes under SIU. The scores are also valid for admission to various other MBA or equivalent courses offered by the SIU constituent institutes. 

Q: Is there any sectional cut off in SNAP?

A: No, there is no sectional cut off in SNAP. The candidates have to only clear the overall cut off for being eligible for GE-PI-WAT. For final admission, the candidates have to clear the GE-PI-WAT round too.

Q: What is a good score in SNAP?

A: A good attempt of around 80 questions with 85-90 per cent accuracy is considered good score in SNAP. The SNAP 2022 exam will have 60 questions only, so the number of attempts considered good are 40-45.  

Q: Will the SNAP scorecard contain sectional scores too?

A: Yes, each candidate’s SNAP scorecard will have both overall and sectional cut offs along with other details such as candidate's name, roll number, photo, signature, category, exam date, etc.

Q: Till when can I download my scorecard from the SNAP website?

A: The result download window on the SNAP website will remain open for one year for candidates to download their scorecards. After that, they will have to make special request to the examination body for the scorecard.

Q: I have forgotten my password. How can I download my SNAP scorecard?

A: In case a candidate forgets their password at the time of downloading the SNAP scorecard, they can retrieve it by clicking on ‘forgot password’ tab on the result page.

Q: Is SNAP exam score the only criterion for SIU admission?

A: No, clearing the SNAP exam is not the only criterion for admission. The candidates will also have to clear group exercise and personal interview round to be selected for SIU admission.

SNAP is a one hour exam. It has 60 questions so you have one question per minute. The level of difficulty of the exam is easy. You just need speed and accuracy. NMAT is conducted by a particular institute called Narsee Monjee for selecting MBA students for their college. NMAT has a different exam structure and syllabus from CAT with No negative marking.
