SNAP is one of the few MBA entrance exams which is easy in terms of difficulty level. It is much easier The number of questions, as well as the exam duration are less that than other MBA entrance exams. The type of questions asked in SNAP as also pretty straightforward.
Moreover, SNAP exam is held thrice for candidates to repeat attempts, which allows candidates to improve their score if they want to. The SNAP syllabus is same as other MBA entrance exam and there are no questions on Reading Comprehension or Data Sufficiency. This makes the SNAP exam much easier to crack than other exams.
Since 2020, the exam is conducted for only 60 minutes and the total number of questions asked is also 60. The first section of SNAP question paper is General English, the second section is Analytical & Logical Reasoning and the third section is Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency.
SNAP exam preparation requires about 6 months so candidates must start studying for it from June onwards. 10 Tips to Crack SNAP 2025 in 1 Month
1.Check your strength
In the beginning, take a SNAP mock test without preparation to see where you stand. This will help you in identifying your strong and weak areas. Start with strengthening your strong areas. You need to achieve 100 per cent accuracy in all the topics that are your strength.
2.Have an exam centric approach
After covering your strong areas, move on to weak areas. Since you have less time, you may not be able to cover all the topics well, so go through some previous years SNAP question papers to know topic-wise weightage and types of questions asked from areas that are your weakness. Focus more on those topics that have more weightage.
3.Practice SNAP mock test series
Solve a SNAP mock test every day and analyse your performance in each of them. You will get better with each passing day. Keep noting down the learnings from each experience and you will have a lot of readymade material to revise before the exam day.
4.Revision everyday

5.Improve SNAP logical reasoning
In SNAP, Reasoning has the maximum weightage of 25 questions. Solve sample questions logical reasoning to improve the skill of understanding patterns and series. There will be verbal, non-verbal and visual reasoning questions. You need to be able understand the less obvious patterns in the given questions.
6.Keep in mind SNAP marking scheme
Prepare for the exam keeping in mind the latest SNAP exam pattern and marking scheme. SNAP has negative marking of 25 per cent, which means you need to avoid every question that you cannot solve with 100 per cent accuracy. So, how will you identify such a question? Avoid questions from topics you are not confident about or could not prepare well.
7.Practice mental calculation
Develop the skill of mental calculation to avoid wasting precious minutes on rough work in Quants section. You must also develop the skill of solving questions through elimination method. This method has proved to be quite useful in saving time.
8.Learn time management
There is no sectional time limit in SNAP exam, so you won’t have the timer running. Thus, you need to time yourself in the exam. The overall difficulty level of SNAP exam is moderate. The English and A-LR sections are usually easy while QA, DI-DS is moderate to tough. 10.Improve mental stamina
SNAP is an online test, where your comfort with computer system and mouse will prove to be valuable. What you need to develop is the practice of reading onscreen.
