Both SIIB Pune and SCMHRD Pune offer MBA programs with different specializations. In terms of ranking and brand value, SIBM Pune is better than SCMHRD Pune. SIBM Pune is ranked 7th and SCMHRD Pune is ranked 8th for MBA by India Today 2021. However, the choice between the two should be based on the course one is planning to pursue. If one is planning to pursue MBA Business Analytics, MBA HR, or MBA Infrastructure Management, then SCMHRD is a better option. For Marketing specialization, both of these two are decent options. SIBM Pune offers MBA at postgraduate level in four specializations including MBA, Executive MBA, and MDP programs whereas SCMHRD offers postgraduate programs in MBA with specializations as MBA (Business Analytics), MBA (Infrastructure Development & Management), and MBA (Executive).

Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune created an industry-focused academic programme initiative on agribusiness related issues through a two-year full-time MBA programme in 2004. The porgramme lasts for two years covers four semesters across mutiple core managerial courses like Financial Management, Marketing Management, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource, Supply Chain Management, some of the Agri specific courses taught at SIIB are as below:

Symbiosis International University comprises Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB). SIIB Pune provides an MBA programme with three specializations: sustainability management, agribusiness, and international business. The MBA-IB programme is the institute's flagship offering. For the various MBA specializations, there are 250 seats available in total: 160 for MBA (IB), 60 for MBA (AB), and 30 for MBA (SM).

The Group Exercise and Personal Interview (GE-PI) process will ultimately determine the final selection.

Foreign candidates can also apply for admission to the MBA programme at SIIB. It is mandatory for the candidates to have a valid passport and Visa. English Proficiency Test is mandatory for foreign students. The student has an option to either appear for IELTS or IELA. SIIB Pune has foreign collaborations with many foreign institutes which includes Berlin School of Economics and Law [BSEL], Germany; Flensburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany; Dauphine University, Paris; Leeds Beckett University, UK; Leibniz University Hannover, Germany; RUDN University, Russia; The University of British Columbia, Canada, etc. 

Speaking of placements, which are among the essential components of any B-School, some of the largest companies visits the campus for final and summer placements.

The institution's key committees and clubs are made up of fair, aspirational, and open-minded people who work relentlessly to improve the college. These include the placement committee, PR and Media Committee, Alumni Relations Committee, and numerous clubs like E-cell, Drishyam - Theatre Club, etc.

The faculty members here are also very friendly and helpful, and they make sure that every student, is aware of all the topics and concepts.

A further plus is that our Director and staff are friendly and encourage the students to talk about their problems and do their best to find solutions.

For placements:

The institute has recently concluded its 2022 placement drive. During SIIB Pune Placements 2022, the highest international salary stood at INR 62 LPA which is about 286% higher as compared to the previous year.

The highest domestic salary stood at INR 20.17 LPA for MBA International Business students, INR 16.80 LPA for the MBA Agri Business students & INR 15.42 LPA for MBA Energy & Environment students. MBA International Business students received an average salary of INR 11.32 LPA.

During placement drive, reputed recruiters like Accenture, Veritas, IBM, Aspect Ratio, Crisil etc. visited the campus.

Yes, the total seats for Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune MBA courses are divided among SC, ST, Differently Abled, and Children / Wards of Defense Personnel category candidates. The total seat intake for MBA course at 210. The seat matrix is as follows:
