B.A. in Hindi - Batch of 2024
4.6

A strong academic foundation in Hindi literature with scope for self-growth and improvement.
Placements: Overall placement data for TMBU (various programs) placement rate across courses (e.g., MBA, BCA, MCA) is around 60% in the most recent drive. The highest package reported across programs is 30 LPA. The average package is 5.5 LPA, and according to student reviews, the lowest package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: High-speed campus-wide Wi-Fi is supported by an IT cell and a centralized computer center with LAN and WLAN connectivity across departments and hostels. Classrooms are generally spacious and equipped with teaching aids. Some are smart classrooms.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified with UGC NET or Ph.D. degrees and are knowledgeable in their subject areas. Teaching is largely traditional and theory-based, using chalk and board, with some departments introducing smart classes. Many students mention this.
Other: I chose this course because I have always had a deep interest in Hindi literature, poetry, and grammar. I want to build a career in teaching, civil services, or creative writing, for which this course provides a strong foundation. Hindi is also a widely spoken and official language of India, so its career scope in education, translation, media, and content creation is good.

I suggest if you do not have other option then you can take admission in it.
Placements: There are no placements or internships at this college. This college doesn't provide any package so we can't say about the highest or the lowest package offered in this college. Zero percent of students got internships in this course and no companies came to this college.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi in every corner so Wi-Fi network is too good. There are two libraries and one canteen. Classrooms are not too good. The quality of the mess and canteen in this college is average, not too good or not bad. There is the best medical facility in this college. This college conducts tournaments of many sports every year.
Faculty: College teachers are very friendly and lovely with all the students so you can ask any doubt frequently. This course does not make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not so hard in this college. The pass percentage is 40%.

B.A. in History - Batch of 2024

I am not satisfied with the college.
Placements: None of the students were placed. Students just came to take degrees from that college. As I said no students were placed so I can't tell you about the average package or the lowest and the highest. The college offers us scholarships and the date was extended for form filling.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were below average. There was no Wi-Fi, classrooms were average but the library was there but there were useless books which no students used to borrow. New hostels were made with good facilities, water filters were planted.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good but the teachers were not attentive we had to waste a whole day just filling out one form. It was very useless. Semester exams were not that tough it was moderate. The passing percentage was 96%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to be a teacher. It helped me to improve my literature. I think they should improve the grammar portion as well. There were no events.

If you want to join this college, I don't prefer it.
Placements: There is no any placement in this college. Because this is not a popular college. They don't think about placements. There are no companies came in this college for recruiting. There is no percentage of students who got internships because they do not offer.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in my college like the best Wi-Fi, teachers, etc. The class size is approximately 150 students. There are 4 hostels in which the mess is normal and the canteen is okay. There are no medical facilities. There is a craze for games mostly in cricket. Every year there is a tournament.
Faculty: There are many top-rated teachers in my BCA department such as Rakesh Pandey, Jitu sir, and Goal sir. They are the best. The university conducts our exam. Sometimes, they set tough and easy papers. This college does not make students industry-ready. They don't teach us that level.
Other: I chose this BCA course because of my passion. I want to do my MCA at NIT College. I want to become a software engineer. There are many things I want to change like library staff, etc. Every year, we celebrate a fresher's party and a farewell party. There is no scholarship scheme in this course.

Review of T.N.B. College, Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University.
Placements: In this college, 80% of students placed from my course. The highest package of this college is 5 LPA and the lowest package is 1.50 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, CAT, and big companies like ISRO. Only 86% of students visit here, most offers come in science.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi and CCTV in the whole college and every course has a separate smartboard. There is a smartboard in every classroom. It has a very big library. It also has a hostel and hostel has a canteen. There are medical facilities here and sports are also played here. Most students here play cricket.
Faculty: Teachers pass the tough exam, they help students a lot. There is a higher chance of students getting a job through science. Semester exams that are held here are very difficult. Only 85% of students pass and the rest fails.

Good faculties and infrastructure.
Placements: T.N.B. College Bhagalpur campus placements are also available but at a very low rate and only available for masters students. Last year, local companies, not MNCs, were available there with a minimum of 20 placements. The highest package is 70000 and the lowest is 10000 here.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. I am satisfied with the infrastructure but in other departments it is not good but ok, there is no AC in classroom and no fan in chemistry labs; at least they have given 1-2 ACs in labs (in the lab there is too much heat and can't survive there ).
Faculty: Our college has excellent faculties. They are graduates from Delhi University and Banaras Hindu University and some teachers have a wide range of experience and our teachers are very helpful.
Exams are well done and competitive.
Not too many extracurricular activities are held here.
Other: College has the worst crowd and no fest in college.
