Infrastructure: One of the best labs and classrooms with air conditioning. Campus features a lot of development for our betterment, as well as the advancement of the spacious rooms really catches attention. A sense of hostility is one that you will experience during the course of study.

Faculty: Talented teachers and are extremely helpful. Guides us well. Each and every doubt is being cleared away as soon as possible. No delay of classes, very punctual faculty members, and they also encourage us by providing motivation and extra knowledge. It's my pleasure to be a part of this college.

Other: I love my college, one of my best decisions.

Really good campus environment at our college.

Placements: 80% of total students got placed with an average salary of 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS and Deloitte. Our college doesn't offer internships in the BCA degree. I did not know about other degrees. Top role offered in my course was software engineering.

Infrastructure: There was full Wi-Fi in our college. Many labs and classrooms were available. We had total 2 buildings in our college, one for B.Tech and one for non-B.Tech. Every building had Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, and faculty rooms. We had 2 grounds to play and for mind refreshment also.

Faculty: Teachers were so good. They were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They always helped us in every situation. The quality of teaching was very good. The course made the students industry-ready. Semester exams were not so hard. If you had the basic knowledge of subjects, you could pass easily.

All about BCA in Techno Main Salt Lake.

Placements: Mass recruiting companies come for recruitment in the college which starts at the beginning of the final year. The average package is 30 LPA. Companies that come are Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. About 70% of students got placed. Internships are not provided.

Infrastructure: My course has a few laboratories. Some computers are not in working condition. A library is available where books related to the course are available. There are no hostel facilities on the main campus, but other campuses under the techno group do have hostel facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. They have a master's degree and PhD. They teach well in classes. The course curriculum is a bit outdated. Semester exams are conducted by MAKUT University. The question papers are set tough. There are four CAs for every semester along with PCAs and assignments.

Other: I wish to improve the syllabus of the course. There are many events conducted by the college like Ankorans, Genesis, etc. There are several clubs for students to participate in a variety of cultural events. The scholarships that are there are provided by the state government like SVMCM which is based on the merit of students.

A great place to pursue BCA with experienced faculty.

Placements: Around 55-65% of students from the BCA (HONS) course got placed during the final placement drive. Many of my seniors were placed in reputed companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, and Accenture. The highest package offered is around 6 LPA, while the average range is between 3-3.5 LPA, and the lowest is around 2.5 LPA. Around 70% of students also secured internships in many smaller startups Cognizant, and Capgemini. This helps them gain real-world experience before placement.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with all the essential facilities such as Wi-fi, computer labs, smart classrooms, and a well-maintained library. The labs are updated with systems and tools. Although the college doesn't provide on-campus hostel accommodation for all students, there are several PG options available nearby. These PGs are safe, affordable, and mostly within walking distance from the college. The college also encourages sports, and there are areas for recreation and cultural events that create a balanced and energetic student life.

Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, friendly, and very approachable. They explain the concepts clearly and help students gain a strong grasp on practical applications too. The curriculum is aligned with the industry standards, especially in programming and software development. Semester exams are not too tough if you study regularly, and most students perform well. The pass percentage is quite high, and internal assessment helps boost the final score. Overall the academic experience has been very satisfying.

Other: I choose BCA (Hons. ). At Techno Main Salt Lake because of its strong academic reputation and practical course structure. The best part of the course is the supportive faculty and their real-world-oriented teaching style. Seniors were extremely helpful and respectful, which made the initial days easier. Events and cultural fests are conducted regularly, bringing life to the campus. Connectivity to the college is very convenient, and the environment around the college is friendly and energetic. I feel the course could include more hands-on workshops or industry certification, but overall, it's a very good experience.

Good infrastructure and supportive faculty. Decent placements with scope for curriculum upgrade.

Placements: 1.70% of students got placed. The highest package is 5 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, the average is 3 LPA. The recruiting companies are Tata, Wipro, and TCS. 50-60% of students got placed at Wipro, TCS, HCL, IBL, and Cognizant 5. The top roles are software developer, web developer, system analyst, and data analyst.

Infrastructure: The entire campus Wi-Fi enabled and fully air-conditioned classrooms. Separate hostel for boys and girls and good quality food Wi-Fi enabled. Fully CCTV for security perhaps. The college cafeteria provide hygienic food. Medical facilities are available on campus for basic health care need.

Faculty: Most faculty members are well-qualified with many holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields. Teachers are helpful and approachable for doubts and guidance. Knowledgeable in subjects like programming, data structures, networking, etc. Use PowerPoint presentations, real-life examples, and coding demonstrations to make topics clearer. The BCA curriculum is fairly relevant and includes important subjects like programming Languages (C, C+, Java, Python) database management, data structures, and web technologies. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Most students manage to pass if they attend classes regularly. Study consistently prepares through internal assessment and practical. The pass percentage is around 80%-90%.

Other: I chose the BCA course because I have a strong interest in computers, software development, and how technology can solve real-world problems. BCA provides a solid foundation in programming, Computer Science, and application development, which aligns well with my career goals in the IT industry. It also opens up opportunities in fields like web development, data science, cybersecurity, and software engineering. The course emphasizes hands-on learning through programming languages like Java. The tech industry evolves rapidly, so the syllabus should be updated more frequently to include newer technologies like AI and machines.

This college is an average college, so you can join.

Placements: It's maybe 20-30% or less than that. Roles are mainly customer care or sales, so all the students are bulk hired for sales jobs. On our placement batch, it's not bulk hiring; they're selecting some students, then they say it's 100% placement, but the placement is so poor.

Infrastructure: Overall, a basic structure, not so promising for an ideal college chain like Techno. Techno has become very overrated nowadays, and it's so irritating that colleges like these are trying to get students and then ruin their careers. They're not giving anything that they promised.

Faculty: Yes, some faculty members are good, but most of them are pretty average, and they're just here for time pass. Some of them don't know about the courses; maybe they just need the job. So, in my opinion, the faculty members are average, but overall, you can manage if you study all alone.
