B.Sc. in Cybersecurity, Data Analytics and Ethical Hacking - Batch of 2028

Utterly disappointed by the course structure and curriculum.
Placements: No placements, and we are the only batch with this course, and there are no college-aided placements at all. Don't expect anything good from here. No reputed companies come here for recruitment. I know it's sad, but that's the reality. Even though we were told that an internship was embedded in the course, it's not.
Infrastructure: The college is very bad. No good facilities were ever given. Libraries don't even have books related to our major, and there is not a single thing worth the money we are paying. Not even a properly maintained sick room or a nurse is present in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very bad. Teachers are not at all qualified, as they can't even properly communicate in English. The teachers don't have enough experience or expertise in the field they are teaching. All they do is come to class, read out the presentations, and give out loads of work to be submitted.

Facilities good average.
Placements: 20% students getting placement every year and we have TCS and IBM companies providing courses and placements If we have TCS course it will be less amount of money but if we have IBM sem fee will be high and everyday these companies make programs etc.
Infrastructure: We got hostel from own college and it is the best part of our college and it has may package regarding like 2 people' 4 people and 6 people in a room and every room has AC Every room has a own bathroom mess is good food is hygienic and medical facilities are available.
Faculty: Syllabus is less comparing to other colleges and it is a much simpler sem exam any student who studies just before the exam can pass easily and the faculty members some of them teaches good but some are beginners that doesn't know that much to teach but it is good.
Other: I choose this because it has cybersecurity and it has scope and all. We nee ld to be more practical exam than theories because that'sake us improve our skills Festivals are every sem there will be atleast three festives event and crowd Is less on our campus. And It has good facilities clean environment etc. And they provide scholarship for the students who got more than 90% on their puc exam.

Moderate academics but limited industry exposure for students.
Placements: Around 10% of students from our course were placed in the latest placement cycle. The highest, the lowest, and the average packages were not officially disclosed by the institution. TCS was the major recruiting company for our course. The internship percentage is also unknown, as no official data was provided. Students who received internships mainly focused on gaining better knowledge and efficient practical experience. The roles offered are designed to improve technical skills and overall professional growth.
Infrastructure: The college offers good facilities like smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, and good teachers. Hostels are decent, with AC rooms, laundry services, and bus transportation. However, the hostel food is only average and needs improvement. Overall, the campus environment is comfortable. There is still room for improvement in both academics and facilities. Considering everything, I would rate the college 7 out of 10.
Faculty: Teachers are okay, qualified, and supportive, but still have places for improvement. The curriculum is okay, though it needs more materials to make students fully industry-ready. Students require better communication training and practical experience as part of the course. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and most students pass with regular preparation. Overall, the course is acceptable.
Other: I had taken this course because I like to study more theory than practical, but when I came here, I understood that there is no difference in the course between BCA and B.Sc. We are not having science-based subjects yet. The campus should provide more extracurricular activities and events.

Q:   Is BTech in IT superior to BSc in IT?
    A:

This relies on several variables. Based on education, BSc IT is superior to BTech IT since it can be completed in three years. If you start a job directly after finishing your studies, you will be paid more than a regular BTech student in their fourth year.

The BSc IT curriculum is also in line with what businesses need. The drawback is that a BTech IT fresher will receive higher compensation than a BSc IT rookie based on the wider exposure to candidates in the BTech course curriculum.
