A detailed review of Tirunelveli Medical College.
Placements: Since it is a medical college, every student is destined to get a job. The college provides internships at government hospitals for all students. In short, there are 100% placements. Packages vary individually as different hospitals pay differently and range from 5-8 LPA. Recruitment depends on individuals. Top hospitals are Apollo Hospitals, Kaveri Hospitals, etc. All students get internships at the same hospitals.
Infrastructure: Regarding facilities, I would not say they are top-notch or high-tech, but all the basic facilities are available. In a few departments, like super-speciality departments, they are world-class. There is Wi-Fi available in the lecture complex, and AC is provided as well. The library is well-equipped with computers and the latest books for students to access current resources.
Faculty: There is no doubt that every faculty member in this college is highly qualified and competent. Teachers use PPTs and projectors to teach and bring out the best in students. Teaching quality is impeccable. The course curriculum is relevant, and the students are highly trained and qualified. The exams are as difficult as they are supposed to be in medical colleges. The pass percentage is a minimum of 40% in theory and practical, and their combined average should be at least 50%.
Other: I always dreamt of becoming a doctor, so I chose this course. The best thing is that you get to relieve patients' symptoms, and it also enables you to meet 20–30 people per day, making you socially better. I would like to improve the work-life balance, as this course is highly demanding physically and mentally. There is a fest, and events happen every now and then. Scholarships are available for those who are eligible.

Faculty: * Lectures are doctors too, so they are well talented with in-depth subject knowledge. They teach all clinically relevant cases with personally experienced scenarios.
* Completely relevant CBME curriculum.
* It is easy to moderate in difficult for passing exams, but a proper subject will make you pass in exams.
Other: * MBBS is a top-notch medical course amongst all other medicine-related courses.
* It will teach you health facilities in all manners, like community-based knowledge and individual & social knowledge.
* Things to improve with my course are that priority should be given to more practical when compared to theory.
* Ecstasy, Tamponade, and department-wise individual cultural events are being held every year.
* Green campus available for us with sports activities; well-versed large ground available for sports activities.

Really good college and students can choose TVMC.
Placements: TVMC is an expert in medical knowledge and practice. TVMC faculty members are well-experienced and knowledgeable compared to other medical colleges. Hospital practice is nice to learn all the topic of diseases.
Their coaching is good compared to other medical colleges.

Our college provides excellent teachers and great infrastructure.
Placements: There are no placements and doesn't prepare you well for competitive exams. College vice-principal is making an active effort to improve the number of students being able to take up the post-graduation.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is developing rapidly that looks more ambient and attractive. Lecture halls are the classes and are air-conditioned. Library is well-equipped but does not allow borrowing books. Hostels are not so much but new hostels have been constructed which look amazing. Food is fine. There is no canteen. Sports ground is available, but restrictive for the girls.
Faculty: Teachers are more than good. The curriculum is relevant but we'll have to write useless records become of the enforced CBME curriculum. It is difficult to pass the internals but they make us study much. Students should have good attendance and internal scores.
