In order to get admission to BDes at UID Delhi-NCR, students are required to pass Class 12 or 3 year Diploma in any stream with 50% aggregate from any recognised higher secondary board/ institute. The selection is done based on the performance of candidates in the UID DAT exam and Situation Test & Portfolio evaluation, which is conducted in offline mode. 

UID Delhi-NCR offers four-year BDes (Hons) course across five specialisations. These are Visual Communication, Animation & Motion Graphics, Interior & Furniture Design, Product Design and Fashion Design. The college also offers BDes (GDP) course in Multidisciplinary with Global Exposure Asia, UK, Australia, and Europe.

At UID Delhi-NCR, the tuition fees for a four-year BDes (Hons) course is INR 24 Lacs. Whereas, the tuition fee for BDes (GDP) course is INR 40 Lacs.

To secure admission to UID Delhi NCR Campus, the institute accepts the score of UID DAT followed by a Portfolio Evaluation (PE) and Personal Interview. The college might accept the score of the entrance examination to grant scholarships to BD students. However, for admission to BDes courses, the college only accepts the score of UID DAT. 

The theory and lab subjects are included in the UID BDes (H) in Fashion Design & Styling course related to this field. Candidates undergo an industry internship in the final year that helps in gaining practical exposure. A graduation project also has to be submitted by the candidates.
