A mixed bag, great campus, average faculty, and selective placements.

Placements: Placements at UID were honestly pretty average. A few top students got good offers because of connections and mostly because they were faculty favorites. For the rest of us, it felt like we were on our own. The college did bring in some companies, but opportunities were limited and not consistent for everyone. If you are not in the good books you might have to find a job on your own.

Not a great crowd here. However, pretty good faculties and facilities for industrial design.

Placements: This institution do not have a placement cell . Quite frankly speaking , in industrial design there are very few placements . Not only that, the majority of them figure out everything by themselves and do not depend on the colleges placement cell . LinkedIn is honestly the way to go.

Review of Karnavati University.

Placements: The college is really good for providing placements. There are hundred students in my batch, and the college has a specific committee made for the purpose of providing placements and solving the issues of the students regarding placements, and the college is really good at providing placement.

Review about Unitedworld Institute of Design.

Placements: Placements are offered to some of the top students only. I don't have a lot of knowledge about the placement system but I know this. As most of the students here are from Maharashtra, they mostly look for internships in Pune and Mumbai. The average package offered is INR 15,000.

Review of Unitedworld Institute of Design, Karnavati University.

Placements: I don't know much about placements. Our seniors told us placements were average. Top recruiting companies are Tanishq, Amazon, Gini & Jony, etc. Approximately 70% of students get placed, and others seek other opportunities. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA to 12 LPA.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty, but it is a bit expensive.

Placements: As I am still pursuing the course, I haven't got placed yet, but many of my seniors said that the placements are average. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS etc. Top roles offered in my course are project design manager, designer etc.

If you live in a hostel, you can pay for studying at United world institute of design. You can pay for both hostel or tution fee.

There is no free services available but when you are not living in a hostel then it's not mandotory to pay the fee of hostel.

The UID DAT test includes both objective (MCQ) and subjective (sketching, design tasks) questions to assess logic, creativity, and visualization.
