Yes, the candidates pursuing MDes from UID have to complete an industry internship in the last year of the course. This internship is included in the course curriculum to ensure that candidates gain field experience. Apart from this, a project also has to be submitted to the institute. 

There are a few practical subjects included in the UID Ahmedabad MDes (Fashion Design) course curriculum. Apart from this, theory subjects, such as basic design, textiles for fashion, fundamentals of fashion styling are included in the syllabus. Mentioned below are the lab subjects:

Candidates can get enrolled to a MDes course of UID Ahmedavad, Karnavati University if they meet eligibility requirements and perform well in selection rounds. The aspirants with a valid BDes or equivalent degree passed with at least 50% aggregate can apply. Aspirants can access the application form in both online and offline modes. 

The applicants have to then appear for the UID Design Aptitude Test. Candidates shortlisted based on exam scores are called for the situation test and portfolio evaluation. Lateral Entry: You may be qualified for lateral entry into particular semesters if you have already completed a qualifying Diploma or degree in design.
