The college infrastructure and hostel is very old, but the teaching is excellent.

Placements: About 40% of students get placed in this college. The highest salary is 8 LPA, while the lowest is 1.2 LPA for our course. The top recruiting companies include Prestige, Arbee Structures, and Kalpatharu. Nearly 40% to 50% of students receive internships in various private and government sectors. The roles offered for our course include site engineer, structural design engineer, and project management.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in this college is very old, and the classrooms do not have any windows. There are no proper facilities or equipment in the laboratories, and there is no Wi-Fi available anywhere on the campus. The library is not well-maintained. As for the hostel, the building lacks painting and plastering, giving it a very old appearance with cracks all around the structure.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, and the quality of teaching is also good. However, the course does not prepare students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are often very difficult, but nearly all the students manage to pass, with about 70% to 80% of students passing.

Other: I chose this course out of both passion and profession. The best thing about my course is that I learn new things every day. I need to improve in some design subjects. The college fests are memorable, and the surroundings have a very peaceful nature.

Good college and healthy environment.

Placements: That's much not good in placement. Our talent plays the main role. We should try by our talent. College will call companies, but not all companies, not much. But we can get companies through our talent; it is fixed one. The college helps us to get good companies and allows us to do many works.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and best hostel facility in minimum amount, and good for students who are studying over there. The environment is kept good in the campus, and the availability of the resources near the college is also more. We get everything we need to study; all are available.

Faculty: Good faculty, and we should only concentrate on studies. The teacher and student relationship is also good with all the facilities, and exam time will be nice, which will be helped by all the facilities. The hostel facilities are also good in studies and are ranked even in the studies.

Other: It is good for poor people who can study at a minimum amount.

My college review UBDT College Davanagere.

Placements: Placement opportunity is very minimal. I attended 3 companies on campus, out of which I qualified in two. The package they offer is around 3 Lacs per annum. Students should also go for off-campus interviews as on-campus placements are very few in this college.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is not that great as it is a government college. I believe it needs renovation or some improvement. The buildings are old, but not too bad. Quite good education. Decent infrastructure for UBDT Government Engineering College, Davanagere.

Faculty: Courses were as per syllabus. The faculty used to guide us as per the updated syllabus model. Study materials were provided by them. Semester exams were conducted as per schedule, and the evaluation process was really well and helpful for the main exams. Internal marks were also given very well.

Other: Fee structure is really impressive, decent education, and placement.

Absolutely, our college is so good.

Placements: My course is Civil Engineering and 85 percent of students are placed in our courses. The highest package in our college is 17 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package in our college is 5 lakhs per annum. Top companies are coming to my college, such as Wipro, TCS, Infosys, IBM, etc., and a total of 85 percent of students get internships from Infosys.

Infrastructure: The facilities are good, and infrastructures are designed well. Wi-Fi facilities are also provided in classrooms, along with good smart boards. Hostels are also provided. Hostel food is good, and they provide good canteen food. They also provide medical facilities in case of emergency.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teachers help us in learning new skills, and the course curriculum is relevant, which makes us industry-ready. The semesters are difficult, and the passing percentage is 55 percent.

Really good college for everyone.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is 73%. More than 42 students are placed in top companies such as DFH, Dalmia, PVR and many more. These are the recruiting companies. Internships include planting, construction, and site visits. The highest package offered is 52 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.2 LPA.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided to each student, such as materials and wi-fi connection in class, a lab with all the required materials and hardware, and infrastructure, are good compared to other colleges. The hostel also has food. The canteen and all the facilities are good.

Faculty: The teachers are good and helpful in teaching all subjects, qualified with all higher degrees, and the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-ready. The semester was hard to pass but we passed with 72% passing percentage.

I would recommend joining this college.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. Many seniors got placed in good companies. The highest salary package offered in our course is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.7 LPA. The highest salary package offered in other courses is 19 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 75% of students got placed in our college. Top companies like BHEL, Schneider, JSW, HP, L&T, TVS, Yokogawa, etc., visit our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not good. Our college provides Wi-Fi. We have good labs. All classrooms are a bit old. A new building is under construction. It is good and spacious. The campus provides great infrastructure. The library is open 12X7. It is peaceful. The mess is not good. Our canteen is average. The old building is not good. A hospital is near our college. Our college provides good sports equipment. The hostel fee is Rs. 20,000 per annum.

Faculty: All faculty members are Ph.D. holders. They are qualified and have great knowledge. They do partiality. Most of them are good. The teaching quality is good. Our course provides the basic knowledge of the industry. The semester exams are moderate. They provide lower marks on our internal exams and high marks on external exams. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I chose this course because it provides knowledge of sensors, instruments, controllers, design, etc. This course is great. Our college should provide a relevant syllabus for the industry. It conducts 2 events every year. Our college has great surroundings. It provides scholarships to students based on their caste. Students who get scholarships should pay Rs. 2,000-6,000 fee every year.

As its KCET rank is 44,000, getting admission in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch of University BDT College of Engineering (UBDTCE), Davanagere, could be out of reach. The closing ranks for CSE at UBDTCE used to be considerably lower in earlier years.

Separate hostel for boys and girls. The boys hostel has two independent blocks which can accommodate 350 students. The room rent and service charges are nominal.
