I am very satisfied with faculty members and placements.
Placements: Every student is eligible for placements. Training is conducted for recruitment. Arrear students are also eligible for placement training. The placement opportunity is less for the mechanical compared to the IT core field. The minimum salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The maximum salary package offered varies between 5 LPA - 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and library are well maintained. Our campus is not Wi-Fi-enabled. Hostels are better. There are insect problems during winter and rainy seasons. The food served in the mess is average. Our campus is well maintained. The laboratory is very good.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are average. If we ask doubts during the exam, staff members do not hesitate to clarify our doubts.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it.

Our college has value for money and the course is very good.
Placements: Almost 20% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Internships are not offered at this college. Top roles are not offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. The food quality is average. Facilities are not worth it. Hostels are better. The security facility is very good in our hostels. This college is very strict.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We can develop more contacts and get knowledge about where we can go for the rest of our lives.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The fee structure is reasonable.

Our college has good environment but placements are average.
Placements: Placements are average. The companies are not ready to pay decent salary packages. We need to search for jobs outside the campus.
Infrastructure: Our campus is very peaceful. The security facility is not good. Hostels are good. The food quality is average. We also have insects problem during rainy days. Otherwise, everything is good. Playground is small. Sports are conducted like football and cricket.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly. If you show interest, they will help you to reach high. They will not take attendance seriously if we have proper reasons. The management is not strict.
Other: Since it is a government college, we cannot expect more. We have to give our best to score good marks.

The college is really good for middle-class students.
Placements: About 25 students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 13,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, HCL and Hyundai visited our college for our course placements. About 25% of the students form our course got an internship in Hyundai. Top roles, like car designer and managing director, are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. The college does not provide Wi-Fi facility for students. Students use computer labs to browse and do other network works. Many labs are available in each department like mechanical, EEE, ECE and CSE. In our course FM, EPL and SOM are available. In our hostel, there is no canteen facility. Food served in the mess is good. Medical facilities and sports activities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well trained and highly knowledgeable. Many faculty members have a lot of experience. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because of the machines. Many events are organised in the second half of a year like Symposium, NSS, YRC meeting, Cultural, hostel day, sports day, department matches, flashmob and a food fight. The college provides Rs. 15,000 as a scholarship to the FG students, and Rs. 9,000 for NFG students. Extracurricular activities are conducted at our college.

I am dissatisfied because of campus, faculty members and placements.
Placements: During my tenure, there is no campus interview process because the college was opened two years before when I joined in this college. In our batch, none of them was placed in any company, and none of the students got an internship. Even students did not know about the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. There was no Wi-Fi facility and library facility. For labs, we went to Anna University. I had a good experience to stay in the hostel. Food was a bit better, and there are canteen facilities.
Faculty: About one or two faculty members in our college were good, and most of the faculty members were just learner like a student. None of them had enough teaching experience, and they did not give any awareness about ISRO, GATE and BARC exams. They only read the book and show some explanation. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like to study mechanical engineering as it was a core department. A lot of opportunities are available in this field. If you have knowledge about core and very good communication skills, then you will get placed. I got some scholarship from the university each year. Every year, they conducted cultural events, and each department conducted symposium. We had done hostel day, sports day, college day and science day celebration.

University college of engineering, Nagercoil.
Placements: There's a placement wing. Performance of the wing depends upon the staffs and students in the wing. Mahindra, Wipro are some of the major MNCs visited the campus for student placement. As per tracked records, there's not much students from the college who got job in campus interview.
Infrastructure: All basic facilities are met. Placement performance should be proved so that most students would get benefited a lot. Laboratories are complete. Library is worthy. Wi-Fi service in the college needs attention as the router used throttles speed as more users join the network.
Faculty: Faculty members are regular. They do their work well. Though being a constituent college of Anna University, the syllabus is just the same one as that for other affiliated colleges. Constituent colleges need to have different syllabus. Atleast the curriculum should be same as that of main campus.

The pride of Kancheepuram and Anna University.
Placements: There are good placements in my college. There are 11 people selected through placement out of 1000 students. The placement training is also given in the college. It is one of the best colleges in giving accurate placements in MNC companies with a huge salary package.
Infrastructure: An excellent atmosphere is provided in the college campus. It is one of the constituent colleges of Anna University. Its natural beauty is its structure. Good lab facilities are provided. Wi-Fi zone is in 24 places. Good support is given to sports. Hostel rooms are good, clean and neat. Hostel mess food is also good.
Faculty: Super and ordinary faculty members are available in the college premises. They help students as a friend so that students can easily understand and ask doubts in their subjects without any shame. Good faculty members who support in each and every aspect are available. They also support our future job scope.
Other: Scholarships, extracurricular activities, fests, are also conducted in my college.

Very useful for the students of poor family to achieve their dreams.
Placements: The placement training is conducted by the placement cell of the college. Last year, just 4 people were placed in the small-scale industry but not by the campus interview, they have placed on their own effort. The other departments have many on-campus interviews. The placement training was good enough.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. It is sufficient for 1200 people, but there is no canteen facility and no bus facility. The college nearby the highway and railway station at 3 km, no need to search for buses and train, 24*7 transport is available. The vehicle parking facility is also here. All the lab equipment are here and working, no need to go anywhere.
Faculty: There are four departments in the college. All the departments have the head of the department and doctorate staffs, most talented staffs working with good communication. 60:1 is the ratio of student-faculty. I also went for two industrial visits. The course curriculum is very useful.
Other: Only government fees, no other fees expect examination fees is to be paid. In every odd semester, the college conducts the annual day celebration and cultural programs and sports day competitions. The scholarship is provided for the students who first graduate and non-first graduate, college campus has high-speed Wi-Fi and library.
