The college is really good for middle-class students.

Placements: About 25 students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 13,000 per month. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, HCL and Hyundai visited our college for our course placements. About 25% of the students form our course got an internship in Hyundai. Top roles, like car designer and managing director, are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. The college does not provide Wi-Fi facility for students. Students use computer labs to browse and do other network works. Many labs are available in each department like mechanical, EEE, ECE and CSE. In our course FM, EPL and SOM are available. In our hostel, there is no canteen facility. Food served in the mess is good. Medical facilities and sports activities are available.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well trained and highly knowledgeable. Many faculty members have a lot of experience. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because of the machines. Many events are organised in the second half of a year like Symposium, NSS, YRC meeting, Cultural, hostel day, sports day, department matches, flashmob and a food fight. The college provides Rs. 15,000 as a scholarship to the FG students, and Rs. 9,000 for NFG students. Extracurricular activities are conducted at our college.

I am dissatisfied because of campus, faculty members and placements.

Placements: During my tenure, there is no campus interview process because the college was opened two years before when I joined in this college. In our batch, none of them was placed in any company, and none of the students got an internship. Even students did not know about the internship.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. There was no Wi-Fi facility and library facility. For labs, we went to Anna University. I had a good experience to stay in the hostel. Food was a bit better, and there are canteen facilities.

Faculty: About one or two faculty members in our college were good, and most of the faculty members were just learner like a student. None of them had enough teaching experience, and they did not give any awareness about ISRO, GATE and BARC exams. They only read the book and show some explanation. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course because I like to study mechanical engineering as it was a core department. A lot of opportunities are available in this field. If you have knowledge about core and very good communication skills, then you will get placed. I got some scholarship from the university each year. Every year, they conducted cultural events, and each department conducted symposium. We had done hostel day, sports day, college day and science day celebration.
