It is good for students who really want to study.
Placements: More than 70 percent of students get placed. The lowest package is 3 LPA, the average package is 4 LPA, and the highest package is 10 LPA. Companies like Pennant, Infosys, Miracle, and Drishya recruit students. Around 70 percent of students are placed in Pennant, Miracle, and Drishya. The roles offered include data analyst, software engineer, system engineer, programmer, and many other roles in the software sector.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in labs, the library, and across the campus. We have good facilities in the mess and canteen. There is a sports zone and games facilities. Medical facilities are also available, including a nurse and ambulance service. We have a dispensary for medicines and health checkups, and doctors are also available in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very knowledgeable and helpful, not only in studies but also in cultural activities. The curriculum includes relevant courses and trending subjects according to today’s technology. Semester exams are a little tough, but if we study properly, we can score good marks. Around 80 percent of students pass.
Other: In today’s era, AI plays a major role. I want to work with trending technologies, so this course helps me achieve that. The focus is more on practical knowledge rather than on studying and writing. The college conducts a student fest every year, where several activities like technical, non-technical, and cultural events are organized. There are also clubs formed to improve our knowledge of technologies.

My Experience as an EEE Student at JNTU.
Placements: I have completed my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from JNTU - Gurajada Vizianagaram. Around 80% of my classmates get placed in campus drives. The highest package is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package lies around 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and L&T visit our college. The roles they offer are Electrical Engineer, Energy Analyst, and Maintenance Engineer.
Infrastructure: Our department has well-equipped Electrical, Machines, Power, and Electronics labs. We have a vast library. The hostel has clean rooms. The food is great as it is a student-managed hostel where they cook whatever we want. We have medical support available in our college. We have good sports facilities with courts and a gym.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is generally good. The curriculum is relevant and includes labs and projects that help students become industry ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is usually around 75%.
Other: I chose EEE because it offers strong core engineering knowledge and diverse career options in Power, Electronics, and Automation. The best parts are the practical labs and supportive faculty. Campus fests are lively, the crowd is friendly, and extra-curricular clubs are active. Scholarships are available for need-based students. There are plenty of events, sports, and technical activities throughout the year.

College surroundings are peaceful and the environment is super cool in winter.
Placements: In our Information Technology batch 85 percent of students are placed. The highest package offered is 12 LPA the lowest package offered is 3.5 LPA and the average package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture and Cognizant. 70 percent got internships in similar firms for developer and analyst roles.
Infrastructure: The Information Technology department at JNTU Vizianagaram has well equipped computer labs with high speed Wi-Fi smart classrooms and a digital library. The hostel provides good facilities clean rooms and 24/7 water and power. The mess offers hygienic and tasty food and the canteen serves a variety of snacks. Medical facilities are available on campus with a health center and students actively participate in sports and games with well maintained grounds and indoor facilities.
Faculty: The teaching quality in the Information Technology department at JNTU is good with experienced faculty and practical oriented learning. The curriculum is updated and relevant to current industry needs including programming AI and web technologies. Semester exams are moderately difficult focusing on both theory and applications. The pass percentage is around 85 to 90 percent and with regular study students can perform well.

Review of University College of Engineering, Vizianagaram.
Placements: Around 60-70 percent of students from our batch got placed. The highest package offered is around 8 LPA, the lowest is around 2.5 LPA, and the average package stood at 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. Many students also received internship opportunities from reputed firms like Cognizant and Tech Mahindra. The roles offered are in software development, testing, and data analysis. The placements are decent. More core companies could be added for better opportunities.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with spacious classrooms, a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, and well-equipped computer and electronics labs. The library has a good collection of academic and reference books though seating space can be limited during exams. Hostel facilities are satisfactory. Rooms are clean and maintained regularly. The mess food is average but hygienic. There are basic medical facilities and a small sports area for recreation. The infrastructure is decent but could be improved in terms of hostel amenities and lab equipment upgrades.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified, experienced, and supportive. They explain concepts clearly and are approachable for doubts and guidance. The teaching quality is good with a mix of theoretical and practical learning. The curriculum is regularly updated and covers essential topics that help students gain industry-relevant knowledge. Semester exams are moderately difficult focusing on understanding rather than written learning. With proper preparation most students can easily secure good marks. The pass percentage in our batch is high around 85-90 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the subject and the good reputation of the college in my field. The best part is the supportive faculty and balanced academic schedule. The campus is clean, green, and well-connected to the nearby town. I wish there were more opportunities for industrial visits and practical workshops. Connectivity to major city areas could also be improved. It's a good experience with a balanced focus on academics and activities.

If you want leisure time to pursue your own ambitions without being academically stressed.
Placements: Placements in this college are something you should worry about the most. It is a government college, so it doesn’t have a dedicated placement team that approaches companies and trains its students effectively. Students have to work hard on their own to get jobs. Don’t expect anything.
Infrastructure: The hostel is below average, but the mess food is much better and bearable. The overall infrastructure is rigid and can be complicated if one doesn't adapt to it. Classrooms are spacious, but the labs are not equipped with adequate equipment. This is my experience.
Faculty: You can find good teachers here, but not many. I am an ECE student, and in my department, I can say that the professors are of high caliber. However, don’t expect to learn everything from teachers. You are on your own in this course. The curriculum is not hectic. You will have plenty of time to do everything you want in the meantime.
Other: I chose this course because the ECE department in this college is worthy of joining. It is a government college, which is financially feasible for me.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members, better placements in 2023, and good infrastructure.
Placements: 50% of students are placed in my college. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. L&T is the top recruiter for the course. Maximum 90% of students got internships, and roles offered in our course are site engineer, design, and quality control. Many other companies are coming to campus recruitment.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are equipped with projectors (hi-tech classes). Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available. Hostel is very good when compared to other hostels. The students run mess in hostel so hostel is good. College is equipped with a dispensary. Sports and games are allowed like conducting sports days.
Faculty: Teacher qualifications are good. Teaching quality is better even though it is a government university. Departments provide industrial visits. Semester exams are okay. Pass percentage is 5.5 points, and in percentage it is 35%. Students are industry-ready, and teachers are helpful.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Events and fests are allowed. Scholarship is enabled, and extracurricular activities are allowed like sports and other clubs.
