UCMS - facilities and other details.
Placements: Since it's a medical college. Most students don't need placements. Most students prepare for the NEET PG examination and do post-graduate studies in the field they want. Some also go abroad for further studies. Only 2-3 students chose to work after MBBS as a medical officer or teacher.
Infrastructure: Since the college is very old and it was established in 1971, you can think of its infrastructure. However, the facilities are good, There are ramps and lifts at most places. When talking of hostels, they are good. You will get an almirah, table, chair, bed, and a tubelight. The mess food is also okay.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They have good experience in their respective fields. Most of them are already doctors and some are Ph.D. holders. They are very supportive too. The exams are held every 3 months but class tests do happen every month. Overall college is good.
Other: The annual fests are Ripple and AURUM (the M.Ed fest of UCMS).

The heart of east Delhi - UCMS.
Placements: The internships of UCMS students are done at GTB Hospital. The internships are done after the final year of MBBS. The interns get Rs 30,000 per month. The interns prepare for PG for specialisation in one subject during internships. They get to know very knowledgeable things from different departments like pediatrics, medicine, surgery, gynaecology, and orthopedics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. There is a presence of lecture halls for classes to be held, and it is fully air-conditioned with Wi-Fi. The library is open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM with all medical books available. There is a presence of labs and skill labs. The hostel is present for both girls and boys. Hostel is allotted to the students living at least 30 KM away from college. The mess is associated hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members of UCMS are highly qualified and very much professional. They teach very efficiently. The teaching curriculum is based on NMC guidelines. There is a university examination held every year. The exam is charm and passing marks are 50% so students need to study much.
Other: The batch has 170 students. Two fests are conducted like Ripple held in May and Aurum held in February. There are many clubs such as Drama club for Manchayan, dance club for Celeste and Renaissance, literary club for Litsoc, and Fashion club for Inayat.

Ucms- a short review This review tells about the course details of the college.
Placements: Our college has great academics. This year PG and INI CET results were amazing from our college. The class consists of 170-180 students and classes takes place from 8 am to 5pm. The teachers are also very experienced.
Infrastructure: There is projector for presentations and a touch whiteboards. The library and reading room services are amazing. There is no public Wi-Fi. For food we have canteen which has good food with reasonable price.
Faculty: As every one knows MBBS is not an easy course. There are ton of exams and huge syllabus. Our college also does not provide preparation leaves. The new curriculum is actually nice and helps covering subjects nicely.

University College of Medical Sciences: Pioneer in Medical Research.
Placements: The batch strength is 170 students. The MBBS course is 5.5 years. There is no placement after course completion. Generally, MBBS graduates have two choices: First, to pursue postgraduate studies, and second, to join as junior residents in any hospital. As a junior resident, one can earn up to 80,000 to 1,25,000 per month, depending on the hospital they join.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is well maintained. There are 4 lecture halls, all fully air-conditioned, with a seating capacity of about 200 students. Labs and demonstration rooms are well-equipped with required materials. The library is well furnished with sufficient books from various top-notch publishers and in varied fields of medicine. Wi-Fi is available in the whole college building and library. There is also a reading room with a capacity of 200 students at a time. The hostel is separate for boys and girls. There is a separate single room provided to each student from the first year, and the room is spacious. Washrooms and toilets are provided, 1 for every 5 students. The mess provides neat, clean, and hygienic food. The taste may not be that great, but it's good to go. Meals are provided three times and evening tea. There is a college canteen that provides good food at a reasonable price. The hospital linked to the college is GTB Hospital, which serves as the teaching hospital and is 1,900 beds with good medical facilities. The college campus is huge, with about 90 acres. There is a cricket ground, basketball court with turf, volleyball court, badminton court, and in indoors, there is availability of table tennis, chess, and carrom. There is a gym in the hostel with adequate basic equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and top-notch. Professors here are among the leading authors of famous books in the medical field. They are supportive and provide a good environment for learning. Research-oriented work is hugely appreciated, and there is always a lot more work going on in different departments in the field of research. Students here get proper clinical exposure, and after they complete the MBBS degree, they are well acquainted with the basics of medical science and basic clinical practice. Semester exams and tests are held on a regular schedule, and prior notice is given for the same. The difficulty level is moderate; if you have studied the basics and paid attention in class, it is easy to score marks. Almost 80 percent of students pass the exam in the first attempt. Those who fail are given another opportunity to pass by appearing in supplementary examinations.
Other: There is an annual inter-college fest held during March-April, named Ripple, which consists of a lot of activities like star night, prom night, band night, gala dinner, fashion show, literary events, and drama events. There is an intra-college fest too, held in winter, named Avalanche. The campus is peaceful, with 90 acres of space and a lot of greenery (getting fresh air in Delhi is really a pro). The college is well connected with metro facilities, with Jhilmil or Mansarovar Park on the Red Line being the nearest metro station. Cabs, e-rickshaws, and autos are easily available round the clock. There are good cafes and places to hang out with friends like Keventers Market, Meltado, Haldirams, Banking Brew, Xerox Degrees, Hone n Dough. These places are in the vicinity of about 2-5 km from the college.

Some of the best memories I have in UCMS.
Placements: Our batches usually range from 170-180 students. This year, turnovers in INI CET and NEET PG were amazing, as many students secured under 100 ranks. Many students start preparing for the USMLE in their third year itself, and there are several seminars also conducted to tell the possibilities after MBBS and apart from MBBS. There are good opportunities for research too.
Infrastructure: Talking about the lecture halls, they are pretty big and have adequate lighting and comfortable seats. They are fully AC, but the AC does break down in extreme summers. We have a projector for presentation and a smart board now. Labs: We have all the labs having okayish equipment. Like it's not too advanced or new. But we do have a new skills lab that has very advanced equipment. Food: We have a doctor's canteen that serves an amazing variety of food for low prices. We also have emergency canteens that also provide some snacks.
Faculty: The faculty is amazing. The teachers are very helpful. But at the end of the day, people do buy online courses for entrance exams. The college provides good patient exposure through postings. The exams are of moderate difficulty, and they provide adequate preparation time before the exams but not during the exams, as the exams are continuous.
Other: I chose this course as I always wanted to be a doctor. It still amazes me to learn something new about the human body every day. I think the syllabus is very huge in MBBS, and proper time and structure can be given. The exams should be properly spaced. We have our annual fest Ripple and an intracollege fest Avalanche. We have a lot of societies that support the co-curricular activities.

You are an Indian citizen and you can surely get admission anywhere you want in India. For this, you need to pass you 12th grade with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. Then, you have to appear for the NEET exam and score according to the cut-off of your category.
