- National Exit Test (NExT) is a combined single-window exam for MBBS students to qualify for admission into postgraduate courses as well as to obtain the license to practice medicine in India. The exam is to be held in two steps to check theoretical and practical knowledge of candidates. Once implemented, NExT will replace multiple exams including NEET PG and FMGE.

KGMU cutoff 2024 ranged between, 2059 and 29714 for the General AI category candidates, wherein, the most competitive course with the lowest ranks needed is MBBS (2059). Considering the NEET UG Round 3, students cannot get admission for MBBS course at KGMU with a cutoff rank between 10000 and 30000 under unreserved category, however, apart from MBBS, students can prefer BDS at a lenient cutoff rank of 29714. Other than that, MBBS course is available under the given range for SC, ST, and PWD All India category candidates only, at KGMU.
