It is one of the best department. It provides a high salary package in joining time.
Placements: Placements for the mining industry in RGPV has good opportunities. Coal India is major recruitment and offered the salary package for our course students. Students must clear the JEE Mains exam to get placed in mining. NTPC, SAIL and NLC are recruiting companies in mining engineering courses.
Infrastructure: The hostel charge is less than Rs. 15,000. Classrooms and the campus are clean. Our hostel and college provide good quality food, first-aid kit, sports team and bus services. Our course is provided with labs and a library system. Experimental instruments are also provided to us.
Faculty: Teaching faculty members are excellent, and they are helping us to complete the course. All the lecturers are qualified with the GATE exam with high ranks. When the course is completed, our course students are industry-ready to get placements in their companies.

The mining branch of this college is better.
Placements: There are average placements due to it being a new college. Most of the mining companies don't recruit, but students regularly perform well in general aptitude tests and in engineering GATE every year. You can also go to various outsourcing companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent as it is newly constructed. It has a huge area in a small city like Shahdol. There is a library. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, as well as faculty residentials, in a nearby place.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. Most of them completed the PGPT. Some of them have good knowledge in theory as well as practical because of the training they have completed, and they will be changed from time to time.
