UPES Gains Remarkable Achievement in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025

October 15, 2024: UPES has achieved a significant leap in global and national rankings, reinforcing our position as a leading institution in India. We recently jumped over 300 ranks in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025, placing us among the top 501-600 universities globally. We are also proud to be ranked among the top 8 universities in India, alongside premier institutions like IISc, IITs, JNU, and DU.

Additionally, UPES is ranked 46th among Indian universities, 28th in Law, 41st in Management, and 42nd in Engineering by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2024. Furthermore, we are recognised as the No. 1 private university in academic reputation in India by the QS World University Rankings 2024.

Beyond rankings, we continue to foster an entrepreneurial spirit through our Runway incubator, which has given rise to impactful start-ups created by our students and faculty members. We are deeply invested in nurturing creativity and turning ideas into successful ventures. Our global partnerships with leading universities like the University of California Berkeley, University of Edinburgh, King’s College London, and many others, provide our students with access to a wide range of international mobility options, from semester exchanges to dual degree programs. UPES is committed to creating social, economic, and environmental impact through initiatives like the Himalayan Innovation and Leadership Lab, Srijan Social Internships, and Government and Start-up Internships, launching from the upcoming summer.
