B.Com Honours Uttaranchal University Review

Placements: Few numbers of students are placed in companies that visit for the B.Com course, such as Planet Park, Pyramid Consultancy, Jaro Education, Hide Education, Artech Consultancy, etc. The average package was 3.41 LPA, and the highest package was 10 LPA in the CA department. Internship opportunities are also provided to students in the 4th semester.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was very poor. Wi-Fi was not working on campus, the hostel mess food was pathetic, and the social environment was not very good. Sports events are conducted once a year, and events are also conducted, such as painting, singing, dancing competitions, and solo performances.

Faculty: Teaching faculty was good and supportive in nature. They support students in assignments and projects and provide PDFs for the topics. Faculty members' behavior was good and impressive. The exam passing marks are 40 to pass the subjects. An industrial tour was not conducted in the B.Com course.

Great faculty, infrastructure, and teaching; however, placements are lacking.

Placements: In our course, every student who was eligible for placements successfully secured a job. The highest salary package offered to our graduates was 9 LPA (Lacs Per Annum), indicating a strong demand for our program's skill set. On average, students received offers around 4 LPA, reflecting the overall competitiveness and attractiveness of the roles available to our graduates. Among the prominent companies that recruited from our course were Deloitte, Grant Thornton Bharat, and Wipro. These organizations are well-regarded in our field and offer excellent career opportunities to our graduates. Their involvement highlights the industry recognition of the quality of education and skills imparted by our program. Overall, our placement record and the caliber of recruiting companies underscore the success and value of our course in preparing students for rewarding careers in the industry.

Infrastructure: Our course has great facilities, like fast Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, modern classrooms, and a large library. The hostel is comfortable, and the mess and canteen serve good, healthy food. Medical help is available on campus, and there are plenty of sports and games facilities to keep us active.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified, holding PhDs and Master’s degrees from prestigious institutions, ensuring a strong academic foundation and deep expertise in their subjects. The course curriculum is well-designed, offering hands-on experience through practical internships, which helps students gain real-world skills and knowledge, making them industry-ready. The college exams are manageable, ensuring that students who put in the effort can succeed without undue stress. The overall pass percentage is high, thanks to the comprehensive support and quality teaching provided.

Other: I chose B.Com (Hons) because it prepares us well for real-world jobs with practical skills. The curriculum is very relevant to what businesses need today, which is great. Although there are good opportunities for placements, I think there could be more to help us secure jobs after graduation. Our campus events, like when Neha Kakkar performed during festivals, and local talent showcases like Festla, make our campus lively and let us show off our skills beyond just studying. Overall, the course is strong and practical, but more focus on increasing job opportunities would make it even better for students like us.

The college is not so bad, but I think teachers need to improve their teaching methods.

Placements: 80% of students get placement every year. The highest package is 1 crore, the lowest package is 3 lakhs, and the average package is 25 lakhs. Top recruiting companies for my course are Will, Axis Bank, and Case Fire. 100% of students get internships because it is mandatory for all students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very beautiful and peaceful. I feel very safe inside the campus. The library is excellent; all types of books are available there. You can borrow books if you have an ID card. Hostel life in this college is terrible; the food quality is very poor.

Faculty: The teachers are not understanding; they are Ph.D. holders but don't know how to teach. They only want students to do their handwritten assignments; they don't believe in practical studies. The pass percentage for exams is 33%; they are not so difficult. Two exams are conducted per semester.

Other: I chose this course because I like the subjects and the commerce field. Recently, the college organized a fest in which Neha Kakkar performed live in the concert.

The college with the highest placement and a beautiful riverside campus.

Placements: The college with the best placement in entire Uttarakhand, which has a worth of 1 crore 50 lacs, with a placement rate of 95%, even got selected in so many companies, even in big companies like that, which provided me with such a good package and a good experience.

Infrastructure: This college is already the best infrastructure awarded college, such a beautiful campus with so many facilities, the biggest library, good grounds, greenery, all riverside campus, a hospital, well-maintained labs, so many canteens, and the biggest part, a safe environment.

Faculty: All the faculty are well experienced and every faculty holds a Ph.D. degree that provides us with the best knowledge they take all our queries with great ease and help us with all our problems at any time. The course gave us immense help and helped us crack all our interviews.

Other: The best college with all the facilities, a beautiful campus, and all the things a student needs, including the highest placement in entire Uttarakhand.

I am very satisfied with the university.

Placements: The university is just amazing. Around 80 percent of students were placed in the courses. The highest package of university is 1.8 crore and the lowest packed is around 4 Lacs. Top recruiting companies are Amazon and google. Almost all the students get the chance for summer internship.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is just beautiful. There is greenery in the university. And the students keep the colleges neat and clean. The hostels are very good and the food provided in the mess is of good quality and the students get the chance to order their favorite food from the food court almost all types of dishes are available there. There are around 10 to 20 computer labs are there in the university.

Faculty: Almost all the faculty is Ph.D. in their fields like finance and economics. They are very helpful. They use to tell about the subject which is very good. And the teachers also share their life experience and everything about the corporate world. Curricular activities are very helpful for us as we get a break from the studies.

Other: I am studying in Bachelors of commerce honors as I want to complete my specialisation in finance as I am good in finance. The best thing is that the faculty and studying environment is very good.

Good infrastructure and value for money.

Placements: There are approximately 700 students in B.Com (Hons). 70% - 80% of students are recruited by companies. The top Recruiting companies are TATA, Airtel, Ramada, Wipro, HCL and many more. The highest package offered to the students is around 2.5 Crores.

Infrastructure: The campus has built facilities like Wi-Fi, Library, Gym, Cafeteria, Study Rooms, Auditoriums, Hostel for boys and girls. This college also has a hygienic mess for students residing on campus. In addition, there are other facilities like a play area for various sports activities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Your doubts and queries are solved immediately. Our college also offers various programs which make students industry ready. Semester exams are according to our future competitive exams, so students get well-knowledge about their future obstacles.

Other: This college is best known for its law and management courses.
