Review of V.S.B. College Of Engineering Technical Campus.

Placements: The number of students who get placed in the college is about 80% because the remaining will be the unwilling students for placement. Because of the placement fees, some will not join in the placement process. The highest package was about 8 LPA this year and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, CTS, sony, Wipro, and Infosys. Around 80% of students got an internship in the above companies. The roles offered are engineer trainee and junior software developer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and neat always. It has a Wi-Fi connection for 24 hours and the classroom are gallery type and big. The libraries are very large and have a separate lab for every course and the components are also good. I am not in the hostel and the canteen is good and there are no sports and games in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in guiding us and the teachers will give 100% support for our studies. They will keep many tests to pass the exam easily and this is very helpful while attending the semester exams. So many students will pass the exam without arrears and they make industry-ready.

Other: I choose this course because I want to go for non-coding jobs and I want to work on the electronics side. In this course, we can go both the way in IT and also in non-IT. In our college no annual day functions, events, or fests because they will only concentrate on their studies.

It has an average infrastructure, above-average coaching and reasonable fee.

Placements: I have just completed my first year. I saw our college's live placements in 2020, and placements will be conducted combined with our college's main branch, which is situated in Karur district. Many students get placements in companies like Capgemini, Cognizant, etc. Compared to Karur branch, Coimbatore branch has less placements.

Infrastructure: The campus is quite small, but it has two to three water doctor machines per floor. Classrooms have a maximum seating capacity of 60 students. Our college claims that there is a Wi-Fi facility all over the campus, but we don't have access to Wi-Fi even though we requested for it. However, hostellers have access to Wi-Fi in the hostel. We can use mobile phones approximately between 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the hostel. Mobile phones are not allowed on the campus, but you can bring laptops. For engineering graphics, there is a drawing hall. For computer science, there are more or less 250 computer systems. The communication lab is small, and there is no auditorium. However, there is a seminar hall of 1000 square feet. I don't know much about the hostel, and I just know that there are separate hostels for men and women. They play movies in the mess every Saturday night, and the laptops are allowed in the hostel all the time. A maximum of 3 students stay per room, and mostly 2 students share a room. You have a separate cupboard, and there is a different floor for every year students.

Faculty: Teachers here are knowledgeable, and most of the core subject teachers hold a doctorate degree in their concerned field. The teaching quality is above average here. Since I joined here during the pandemic, I was attending classes in an online mode most of the time. Our college is affiliated with Anna University, so its course curriculum is followed here.

Other: The campus is situated in an area where you can't find a single stationary shop around two kilometres. You can buy stationery in the college cafeteria. It is a strict college, and boys and girls are not allowed to talk with each other. Our college has less crowd. Many events are not organised here. There are no sports.

Totally dissatisfied with college management and placements.

Placements: Only 19 percent of the students got placed from my course because of a lack of placement guidance. Recruiting companies are Capgemini, Mphasis, UST Global, SLK software, etc. Roles offered are Software developer, Frontend Developer, and Network Engineer. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: A minimum level of infrastructure with sufficient lab facilities, classrooms, a library, and a good Wi-Fi network. A level of 3 out of 5 will be given for the quality of food inside the campus canteen and mess. No support for sports and games and other college events.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, more qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are efficient in gaining knowledge. The course curriculum is not relevant to the industry. In an autonomous institution, the questions in semester exams are hard and the pass percentage is 50 percent.

Other: In the stream of ECE to get placed in all sectors of jobs this is the best thing about my course. To give practice for experiments physically and moderate coaching. There are only a few events in this college. Average crowd in the campus with neat surroundings.

Placements: 100% placement is guaranteed. You will get more job opportunities by learning additional skills. The highest package is 47 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 to 4 LPA. Companies such as TCS, Accenture, and Amazon are available. Top roles include software engineer and data analyst.

Infrastructure: There are more labs, and Wi-Fi connection is also available. The library provides many books to gain knowledge. The hostel is also very good, offering hygienic and tasty food, not only in the mess but also in the canteen, which provides good food and snacks.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They teach not only lessons but also teach more skills and how to communicate. Teachers are well-qualified and have good communication skills, so faculty is the best. They also teach extracurricular activities. The semester exams are easy.

Other: I chose this course because, in this field, we get a good salary, and there are no ups and downs. I want to learn more courses and improve my knowledge. Events are held, the crowd is good, and the campus is also better.
