B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) - Batch of 2027
4.8

I'm satisfied, in a year. There is a good faculty and scope for good placement.
Placements: There are many people who are placed in my course, and it was an ongoing market course, so there are many options if we study well. We have companies like TCL and Tech Mahindra coming to interview us, and the highest package has varied from year to year. As I have seen, it was a 10 LPA package for a student over the past year.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel for boys. We have to acquire a private hostel, but the environment in college and the surrounding area is insane. The college is absolutely worth it, and it has NCC. It also has Wi-Fi with a high range and quality, and the labs and lab faculty are good. There are 2 canteens, and both serve delicious food.
Faculty: Teachers are nice, and they have the basics to give us a good education. They plan on a week-wise basis, and the semester exams are difficult because there are 2 faculty members and a squad in the examination. The sir and ma’ams are very strict in semester exams and lab external and internal exams.
Other: There are many events that happen all the time in college, and it has student society clubs that we can participate in as well.

One of the best choices I have made to enter this college.
Placements: The students in my course placed are 23 members. The highest package offered is 9 LPA. The lowest package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, and Intel. Top roles offered are manager post, head of the groups, and most ended up as just freshers.
Infrastructure: Vaagdevi Engineering College has the best infrastructure. It has 3 libraries which are super calm and peaceful to study. The speed of the Wi-Fi is unbelievable. Coming to the classrooms, they are super clean and comfortable. They are like the ones that are shown in the movies as top colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they have quite a lot of knowledge. They care about the students who don't understand quickly as normal students. Coming to the difficulty of the exams, they are quite tough. But we can endure them with the lessons that are taught by the lectures.
Other: There is nothing more but if you want to feel your B.Tech life throughout your life, give this college a try.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the curriculum, good placements were in 2014, & really good facilities.
Placements: In my college, average placements are there. Up to 75 percent of members are placed every year, with the highest package of 12 LPA, the lowest package of 1.5 LPA, and an average package of 6 LPA. Company recruiters include Zenpack, Wipro, and others. An IEEE internship is available in our college.
Infrastructure: In our college, they provide a Wi-Fi connection, but the internet is poor. They provide engineering workshop labs, and for programming, they provide us with a computer lab. There is also a library for studying. I am not a hostel student, so I don't know about the hostel facilities. The canteen food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are of a friendly nature; they are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Some of the teachers don't know any subject but still come to teach us; some are good at teaching. The curriculum is not even related to our course, and semester exams are of a moderate to easy level.

Great learning environment with a strong AI curriculum and decent placements.
Placements: I'm from the B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) 2025 batch. Around 40–60% of students get placed. The highest package offered is 10 LPA, with an average of 3.5 LPA and the lowest being 2.0 LPA. Top recruiters include Cognizant, Infosys, Genpact, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. Many students also get placement support through off-campus drives and Alumni references. Internships are available to 50% of students in companies like TCS iON, Edunet Foundation, and SmartBridge, focusing on AI, Web Development, and Data Analytics. Roles include software developer, data analyst, ML intern, and system engineer. Placement training helps in skill building.
Infrastructure: Our CSE (AI & ML) department has well-equipped computer labs, high-speed Wi-Fi, and access to digital libraries with research journals. The campus has a good central library and quiet study areas. Hostel facilities are good. The canteen offers snacks and meals at reasonable prices. Medical facilities include a first-aid center and on-call doctors. Sports infrastructure is good. It has a playground, indoor games, and annual sports events that promote physical activity and team spirit.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Most of them encourage practical learning through projects and coding sessions. The teaching quality is good, especially in core subjects like Data Structures, DBMS, and Machine Learning. The course curriculum is mostly relevant and covers essential topics aligned with industry needs. However, students have to put in extra effort through online courses and internships to stay updated with current trends. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty with a fair mix of theory and problem-solving. The pass percentage is around 85–90%, with proper support and re-evaluation options available.
Other: I am from the B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) 2025 batch. I chose this course due to my passion for AI and its future scope. The curriculum covers core AI, ML, and Data Science topics with hands-on projects. Labs, Wi-Fi, and library facilities are good. More industry exposure improves the course. The campus hosts vibrant fests, has friendly peers, and is well-connected. Scholarships are available for merit-based students. Extracurriculars like hackathons, AI clubs, and sports encourage overall development. It is a great course for those aiming for careers in AI-driven fields.

Okay just satisfied and value for money. Average placement percentage.
Placements: Average placement percentage. This college had the best placement management in 2015. Now a days it has some low placement rate. 75% of students are applying for private and outside jobs. It's best for engineering some are best in studies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is nice. It provides good gardening area, playground, library, and canteen. Very good area with full of eco-friendly nature. This college has the best nature with trees and plants. In this college, there is a medical garden which has all types of medical plants, and proper timetable for sports and library time.
Faculty: Best faculty members with 20 to 30 years of experience. They provide best exams and useful curriculum. This college provides the best faculty members as well as has best critical exams and high conceptual questions in exams. They provide the best study.
Other: It is a nice college.

College is good, but teaching should be improved.
Placements: About 40% of students are placed in my course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good and the infrastructure available for my course is well-equipped. For every course, they have different labs and classrooms with facilities like fan, air conditioners, and lights. For my department, we have labs with computers, free Wi-Fi, and a good canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members are good enough for the students and very helpful. They are well-qualified for teaching and quality of teaching is good enough. The faculty not only teaches the textbook but also teaches extra lessons that help students.
