VR Siddhartha College of Engineering and Technology provides many courses to students.

Placements: In Mechanical, we get companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Zomato, and Swiggy that offer jobs with a minimum package. Some students in our college participate in hackathons, which help them get internships at big MNC companies. They provide many opportunities to the students.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. The quality of lab materials and classroom facilities are excellent. They provide certain competitions for students to improve their sportsmanship qualities. There are ground facilities for students to play cricket.

Faculty: Faculty is qualified to teach students. The course curriculum is relevant to the industries. They are taught by industrial experts. The semester exams in the college are not very difficult, and they include mostly industrial questions. The pass percentage for the semester is 80%.

I absolutely love this college.

Placements: 60 to 70% of students get placed in our course. The highest package is about 50 LPA. The lowest package is about 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our course include Medha Servo, Hyundai, TCS, etc. Many students get internships in top companies. Top roles offered in our course include graduate engineer, R&D, design engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in our department are very good. Wi-Fi and classrooms are good. A well-stocked library is available. The quality of facilities in our hostel is good. Hostel food is also good. Canteen food is also good. Medical facilities, sports, and games are also available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in our college. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are neither too tough nor easy.

Other: I want to join and work in a core field like mechanical engineering.

Join only if you have true passion for your career goals.

Placements: Placements are very less. Let me be clear about the reality in the college placements: it doesn't depend on the branch. The faculty will send students to the placement drives, for example, if an IT company visits the college for placement, then the faculty will send students. The recruitment mainly gives preference to IT branches like ECE, CSE, AIDS, AIML. As for the core companies, those are not even at the level of engineering; they offer stipends of 16-18k per month.

Infrastructure: About Wi-Fi, it is available across the college and can be accessed using the student registration number; however, it does not work for faculty members. The labs have okay infrastructure, but in our branch, most of the equipment is old and mostly not working. Classrooms are good, equipped with projectors and proper ventilation. The library is the best in the college, with card access for every student and a wide range of books across many genres.

Faculty: Faculty in our branch are not very professional; only three members have Ph.D. qualifications, and they possess great knowledge and give their best. The remaining faculty mostly teach by memorizing topics. The syllabus and curriculum need changes as they are not updated enough to fit this generation, they have remained the same for about 30-50 years.

Other: I chose this field because I have a passion for the Mechanical Field. The best aspect of my course is that it's a Core Industry, which is stable and evergreen. Things like the curriculum and guidance from the faculty to choose a better career should improve; only then will it be worth the money. Events, fests, campus crowd, and connectivity are all average, not quite providing value for the money we pay.

It is very important to get a seat in this college.

Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in this course. Top recruiting companies are TCS, JSW, etc. Many students got internships in this course. The highest salary package offered was 44 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Hostel facilities are great. The food quality is average. All laboratories are well-equipped.

Faculty: All faculty members are very talented and experienced. They are very friendly with students. I would recommend students to join this college.

Other: It is one of the top colleges in our state. It is ranked A+ by NAAC.

I am absolutely very satisfied because of the faculty, college, and placements as well.

Placements: More than 85 percent of students in our branch are placed every year. In our branch, a maximum of INR 9.5 LPA to a minimum of INR 3.5 LPA packages are offered. There are many recruiting companies like TCS, JSW, and Honda. In our college, the top package is INR 45 LPA, which is achieved by computer science branch students.

Infrastructure: In our college, almost every device and piece of machinery is available. Every branch has almost all the infrastructure that is required for its corresponding branch. As well, our hostel facilities are very good for every student. Hostel is provided to 2nd year students to final year students.

Faculty: In our college, all the teachers are very good, and they are very talented. Our curriculum is very relevant to the industries and software companies. The secondary exams are not that simple or too hard; an average student can pass them.
