VIT Pune PhD Admission 2022
The institute offers PhD programme in six specialisations. Admission procedure for PhD is followed as per rules and regulations of SSPU. Candidates are shortlisted based on a PET score followed by a personal interview round. Aspirants who have appeared for UGC-NET (Including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (Including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE are exempted from appearing for PET. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who have completed a master’s degree or MPhil or equivalent with a minimum of 55% aggregate or equivalent grade ‘B’ in UGC 7-point scale (50% aggregate for reserved category and differently-abled aspirants) are eligible to apply for PhD programme. MPhil students of SSPU whose dissertations have been evaluated and viva-voce is pending may be admitted to PhD programme.
Candidates possessing a degree considered equivalent to MPhil from an Indian institution from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency can also apply. Candidates with MD/ MS qualification will be considered eligible for PhD programme in the subject equivalent to Medical Science under the faculty of Science and Technology.

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology offers a large diversity of courses to students in various fields. VIT Pune admissions are held on the basis of entrance tests. Students seeking course admissions must clear their previous qualifying examination and appear for any of the prescribed entrance exams such as MHT CET, JEE Main, GATE, among others. Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune provides a four-year B.Tech programme containing eight specializations. Students can get admission to the programme through either the JEE Main or MHT CET entrance tests, followed by state-level counseling procedures. Additionally, the institute offers B.Tech lateral entry, facilitating direct admission to the second year of the B.Tech program. As of now, the application for VIT have not started. However, they are expected to be starting soon. VIT Pune BTech admissions are done through the MHT CET exam. The last date to register for the MHT CET was in March. The MHT CET Exam has already occured in the year 2025. Students can apply to VIT after giving their exams ( JEE Main or MHT CET) using their marks. In addition you can check the official website.
