The college is pretty good, the placements are also good, infrastructureis average.
Placements: The placements for AIML are pretty good, as AI is booming right now. There are a lot of firms that are hiring from this branch for the role of AI Engineer or AI Analyst. Students are getting really good packages. The average package is 8 LPA, and it can go up to 32 LPA. Companies like PhonePe and JMPC come to our campus. From my branch, around 62 percent of students were placed last year, and with the change of TPO, I think it'll increase more.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi connectivity is really good; the speed can go as high as 100 Mbps. The classrooms are pretty good, but sometimes the classes get overcrowded as the intake is a lot. Most importantly, the classrooms are well-equipped. The same goes for labs. Every machine is up to date. As for the library, it's a lot bigger than I thought at first, but the only thing that bothers me is that sometimes you don't get a place to sit in the library due to overcrowding.
Faculty: Overall, teachers are quite helpful. There are some exceptions, but I have really great teachers; they are helpful, kind, and always smiling. That's one thing I really love about my branch. They make you feel like they are one of you. The curriculum is up to date, but it lags in some parts. Exams in VIT are one of the easiest things; even if you study just average, you can get above a 9 CGPA.
Other: AI has always fascinated me the most. I did my Diploma in Computer Engineering, but I wanted to make my career in AI and ML only. That's one reason I chose this path. Fest in VIT are absolutely bangers, you'll enjoy the most.

College is worth it because of its placements and crowd, a Top 5 Engineering College in Pune.
Placements: I am currently a second-year student at VIT Pune. The placement percentage for the year 2024-2025 is around 87%, with the year 2023-2024 going almost 90%. Top recruiting companies are PhonePe, Citi, and MSCI. Some top companies (less frequently), such as BlackRock, Barclays, Nvidia, Verisk, and Entara, visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi strength is provided for students and faculty members. Classrooms are adequately large for several students. There are 3 canteens on campus. Kondwa campus is bigger than Bibwewadi. Labs are equipped with the latest spec computers. Hostel not tried (but costly around 1.5 lacs). A study room is provided for students. The activity room is available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful: flexible with schedules, friendly with submissions, excellent at doubt-solving, and provide one-on-one guidance. The course curriculum is updated, aligning with the 120NEP education scheme. Relevant courses that are needed in the industry with an updated curriculum. The semester exams are quite easy, making it easy to maintain a CGPA.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.4
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Good faculty, average placement, and the worst intake.
Placements: There is a batch of 360 students of electronics and telecom engineering every year from 2024, before that, it was 180. Placements are actually above average. VIT is especially known for electronics and telecommunication courses. What I like best about this part is the level of companies that come to our campus, like Cadence, Siemens, and many more hardware companies. The highest package offered is 18 LPA, and overall, the college had an average package of 6.6 LPA every year, and the conversion rate from internship to PPO is high in our course.
Infrastructure: Talking about its infrastructure, it’s already NAAC A+ affiliated, and I think that's enough to prove the infrastructure of any college. We have great labs, comfortable classrooms, and the best library. Not just boasting, but being a studious student, I feel at home in the library. Even the variety of books they offer, apart from engineering, is what grabbed me more. Our college doesn't have any hostels, which might be a drawback, especially in the minds of girls' parents. Next, we have an excellent sports facility with great rooms having equipment for all sports.
Faculty: Our college is especially known for the ENTC engineering competition, with many colleges of repute, and holds a position over many. It is because of the faculty members. Almost every professor here holds a Ph.D. degree from reputed colleges and institutions like IITs. You can check the profile of every professor, and it will fascinate you to know that the amount of research these faculty members have in their core field is unbeatable. The course curriculum is updated for every subject, and the level of semester exams and the practical-oriented approach via projects is what makes us industry-ready.
Other: The club culture of our college is excellent. Every artist and introvert gets a stage here to perform, whether in technical, cultural, or sports. The flagship event of our college, Vishwakarma, is extremely fascinating. Coming to the personal point, why I chose this college was because of its placement stats and the repute the college carries in ENTC. Talking about the betterment of the courses, I could say that fluency in communication and information reaching students could make this better, otherwise, students face circumstances without their fault.

Satisfied with VIT because of the packages.
Placements: Well, for electronics and telecommunication, there are fewer companies, but college placements are really good. The highest is 16 LPA, and the average is 6.6 LPA. Right now, 61 percent is completed, and the remaining are going on. Talking about companies, Capgemini and Accenture are such companies that have been visited.
Infrastructure: All systems are awesome. There is availability of a mess and canteen, and sports and games. Every class has its own Wi-Fi connection, which helps students. Talking about the medical facility, I am not so sure about it. Overall, definitely VIT is worth it.
Faculty: All teachers are either PhD or M.Tech. I really loved my course as it was relevant to the industry. There are difficulties in exams, but as we know, exams make our study more conceptual. I can definitely say my college provides good knowledge about industries, and they try to connect us with them.
Other: Well, I am interested in hardware, so I chose electronic and telecommunication engineering. Everything is really good, but it needs to bring more and more Technology.

Good infrastructure with good facilities, placement issue due to increased intake.
Placements: Percentage of students placed in year 2024-is 25 around 85 percent. Top recruiters are CS Nvidia, PhonePe, Citi, and MSCI. TPO changes in year 2025, next year batch will receive placements from new TPO. The highest salary on-campus is 33 LPA (PhonePe). The lowest on-campus is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Excellent facilities are provided by the college namely Wi-Fi (different Wi-Fi so that each student gets connectivity, student Wi-Fi, TPO Wi-Fi, faculty Wi-Fi, etc). Classrooms can accommodate around 100 students with boards in each room. There are working computers in each practical lab. There are special labs with better hardware. Hostel is not recommended. There is a central library and all the books are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They solve doubts and conduct tests to assess the student's growth. The curriculum follows 120 NEP (the latest educational scheme). The examinations are not that hard if you study consistently, VUT shines here, you can do your own extra study without worrying much about your CGPA.

One thing good about VIT is that it is student focused events like Vishwakarandak and Vishvotsav.
Placements: I am currently a second-year student at VIT Pune. I love it, best experience, so many clubs (to be exact 60+ including Google and Microsoft), super helpful seniors, and a large intake that's a problem. But it is nice, if you are a diploma student and want to take part as direct second year. Placement percentage of 2024-2025 is around 87 percent. Top recruiting companies are PhonePe, CITI, and MSCI. The highest CTC offered is 33 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very nice. Computer department has one building. There are many labs like Nvidia, etc. It has good Wi-Fi plus network bandwidth atleast for CS department. Classrooms share good just that college timings are small, mine is 2 to 6 (only 4 hours, couldn't enjoy youth per say). Hostel is only at Kondhwa campus, not for Bibwewadi campus. You have to opt for private PG and flat.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They provide excellent TPO. Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Around 88 faculty members are there for CS department alone. Out of those, around 42 have done Ph.D. VIT has more focus on patents and research curriculum which helps us to think in research way as well as in practical way.

You can't get direct admission into MCA at VIT Pune without an entrance exam. Admission is through MAH-MCA-CET via DTE CAP counselling. The total fee for the MCA course is usually around ?2.2–2.7 lakh for the full duration. It's better to check the official site for the latest fee structure.
